いちばん書き込みを集めたのは、雅媚に人質に取られた玲琳が、自分の力で形勢をひっくり返した場面です。「みんな玲琳を心配してたのに、隙を見た瞬間、3秒で全部片づけた」と笑う声に、「状況を良くはしたけど、収めたわけじゃない」と冷静に返す人もいました。正気を失っていく雅媚の描き方も評判で、「ホラー映画見てる気分だった」という感想が出ています。
もう一つの山は、慧月のツンデレぶりと、玲琳が友達になろうと迫る、告白のような場面の美しさです。最終回を前に、2期を待ち望む声も両方の板に並びました。

第10話
冠を外して覚悟を示した尭明に、冬雪が入れ替わりのすべてを打ち明ける。玲琳が引き続けた破魔の弓は、辰宇が張った途端に弦が切れ、辰宇も入れ替わりに気づく。玲琳と慧月が二人で呪い返しに臨もうとしたところへ雅媚が現れ、玲琳を人質に取るが、玲琳は自力で抜け出してムカデを仕留める。返った呪いは巨大な蜘蛛の姿で雅媚を怯えさせ、最後に辰宇と尭明が駆けつける。

Man she was more intimidating in the anime. The added detail of her coming into shack behind them during the critical moment is what sealed it for me. In the manga Leelee is put on guard at least as a look out so Gabi is kept at bay a little even if just outside. Also Gabi's faces, f**k.

Still makes no sense how Reirin got taken hostage by a wheezing cripple with a failing heart. Maybe she just felt bad for this pathetic woman and let her do it, that is until she threatened Keigetsu.

The combo of tsundere Keigetsu and Reirin (who is rather straightforward) in this episode was great! I really hope that next week we'll get an announcement for a second season so we can get more of them.
一応言っておくと、XのSugoiLITEから、2期が制作中で2027年を目標にしてるというリークがもう出てる。まだ非公式だけど。

で、慧月と玲琳がお互いに恋に落ちて、彼はがっかりするわけだ。だって元の慧月はツンデレで、ツンデレがひどい態度を取るのは好きな相手にだけだろ……だから少なくとも元の慧月は元の玲琳のことが好き、って可能性は十分ある。玲琳が同じように応えるかは分からないけど、あり得る話だ
Then he gets disappointed since Keigetsu and Reirin falls in love with each other. I mean OG Keigetsu is tsundere and tsudenres act poor they do only with their love interest…so it’s very possible that at least OG Keigetsu loves OG Reirin. Not sure if she’ll respond in such way, but it’s possible.

現実的に考えると、玲琳に弓を目いっぱい引き絞る腕力なんてほとんど無かったはずなんだよな。しかもしばらくそれを続けた後だし。あの弓が満月まで引かれて射られたのって、何年ぶりか分からないくらいだろ（しかも主人公がそれまでさんざん酷使してたのも足を引っ張ってた）
Realistically, Reirin hardly had the muscle power to do a full draw, especially after a while doing that. This was the first time the bow was fired at full draw in who knows how many years (and the MC hardly helped it by abusing it so much previously).
辰宇が気やら何やらで真相に気づいたのは見事。弓を一度張っただけで分かるのかよ。
ツンデレ慧月の「心配してやめるんじゃないんだから、ば、ばか！」がたまらん。

あれは彼女が改心したっていうより、こっちの彼女への評価が改まったって話だと思う。慧月はもともとああいう人間で、問題は前は操られて、精神的に虐げられて、嘘を吹き込まれて、ガスライティングされてたことなんだよ。玲琳はめちゃくちゃ行動的な主人公だから、正しいと思ったら同じくらい思い切ったことをやる。今回みたいに、誰かを殺そうとしてると思った相手を仕留めるために、あらゆる決まりを破ってたしな
It's less of her redeeming herself and more that our opinion of her is being redeemed. She was always this person, problem is she was misled by manipulation, emotional abuse, misinformation, and gaslighting before. Reiren is a very proactive MC, if she thought it was right she'd take similarly drastic action. Like she is in this episode, essentially breaking all sorts of rules to assassinate someone because she believes they are trying to kill someone else.
この作品……よすぎる……。慧月と莉莉のやりとりが笑える。「ああ……はい、これが私のご主人様です」の莉莉をもっと見たかった。

It was kind of surreal to see Keigetsu and Leelee interact without full comprehension of each others' character development.

それな。自分ももっと見たかった。莉莉が「変わってないでしょ」って証明しようとしてツンデレ慧月をつつきまくって、慧月が思い通りの反応をしてやるもんかって必死にこらえる、みたいなのが見られたら最高だったろうな

Yeah. I wanted more of that too. Leelee trying to push tsundere Keigetsu's buttons to prove she hasn't changed and Keigetsu having to fight to urge to not give Leelee the satisfaction would probably be a treat.
自分は慧月の改心編に全面的に乗っかってる。彼女には人生で前向きに支えてくれる誰かが本当に必要だったし、今は好むと好まざるとにかかわらず玲琳がいるからね。
あと今回の玲琳とのやり取りは全部最高だった。一瞬残らず大好き！
I for one, am fully onboard with the Keigetsu redemption arc. She really needed someone to support her positively in her life and now she has Reirin whether she likes it or not.
Also all of her interactions with Reirin this episode were gold. I loved every bit of them!
彼女はただ愛情とぬくもりと、認めてもらうことに飢えてた女の子なんだよ。で、玲琳の慧月への気持ちはその全部を満たしてるっていう
She was just a woman starved for love, affection, and appreciation and Reirin checks off all those boxes when it comes to her feelings for Keigetsu.
それに操られて、虐げられて、ガスライティングされて、嘘を吹き込まれてもいたしな。慧月がやった悪いことだって、そもそも彼女が考えたことじゃない。心も気持ちもへし折られた後で、それを吹き込んだ張本人に植え付けられた考えなんだよ
She also got manipulated, abused, gaslit, and fed misinformation. Keigetsu didn't even come up with the bad stuff she did. They were ideas planted in her mind after she was broken down mentally and emotionally by the person who planted them there.
忘れるな、玲琳のほうも「友達」は一度もいなかった。支持者は山ほどいても、気を抜いてふざけ合える相手はいなかった。つまり二人はお互いを救ってるんだ。
Remember --Reirin has NEVER had a "friend" either -- lots of supporters (some of them TOO supportive in Reirin's eyes), but never a genuine gal pal she could simply relax with and be goofy with. So both seem to saving the other -- albeit in a bit different fashion.
それだけじゃなくて、玲琳と慧月それぞれの侍女も、お互い相手の方が合ってる気がする（莉莉の方が玲琳に言い返しそうだし、玲琳に心酔しすぎることもない。冬雪は慧月をちゃんとした妃に仕込めるくらい厳しいし）
Not only that, but I feel that Reirin's and Keigetsu's respective court ladies are better for the other as well (Leelee being more likely to push back on Reirin and not be overly obsessed with her, and Tousetsu being strict enough to teach Keigetsu to be a proper court lady).
ついに、完全にイカれた朱雅媚のご登場だ。うちの三人娘の敵じゃなかったけどな！
Finally, the appearance of a very unhinged Shu Gabi, who is no match for our three gals!
正直、雅媚は高笑いを始めるまでは美人だと思ってた。あそこで無理になった、はは。
I gotta admit I still thought Shu Gabi was beautiful, until she started laughing maniacally. At that point, I'm out hahaha
元凶は金麗雅だ。息子を亡くした雅媚に「皇后が尭明のために命を奪った」と吹き込んだ。でたらめだが、流産で1か月寝込んだ人にまともな判断は無理だった。
I blame Kin Reiga for all this, telling a bereaved Shu Gabi that her son’s life was stolen by the Empress for Gyoumei’s sake.
It’s utter poppycock of course, but Gabi had been bedridden for an entire month after miscarrying her son and would not have been in her right mind then.
みんな玲琳を心配してたのに、隙を見た瞬間、3秒で全部片づけたのが最高だった。
I love how everyone was worried about Reirin but the moment she saw an opening she just quickly handled the entire situation in three seconds lol.
いや、状況を良くはしたけど、収めたわけじゃないだろ。隊長が来なかったら、誰かが刺されたり死んだりする可能性はまだかなり高かった
Well, she improved the situation. She didn't handle it. Without the captain showing up the chances of someone being stabbed or dying was still quite high.
尭明がこの展開に取り乱すのも無理ないよな。玲琳に会いたい一心で冠まで外したこととか、最後のあの表情とか、どれだけ彼女を愛してるかがすごく伝わってくる。もっと早く彼女だと気づけなかったことに罪悪感もあるんだろうな。
雅媚がやたらゆっくり歩いて入ってくるのは笑った。女の子たちがみんな怖がりすぎて、呪いを完成させる前に入ってくる時間をあげちゃったみたいでさ。でも最後は玲琳が玲琳らしく、玲琳にしかできないやり方で片付けたのは面白かった
Gyoumei is understandably distressed by this turn of events, the fact that he removed his crown because he was that desperate to see Reirin, and the expression on his face at the end, you can really feel how much he loves her. He must be feeling guilty for not recognizing her sooner.
It was funny to see Gabi walking in so slowly, like all the girls were so scared they gave her time to walk in and not complete the curse. Though Reirin being Reirin eventually does it in best Reirin way possible was amusing.

The only thing that can bond Leelee and Keigetsu is trying to act sane while Reirin acts like Reirin.
Shu Gabi learned never to threaten a Kou woman while she's in a body she can fight back with.
雅媚がここから生き延びられるのかほんと気になる。でも彼女の企みがバレたことで、慧月が受けるかもしれない罰は軽くなりそう
Really wonder if Gabi somehow makes it out alive from here but her plot getting exposed should help relieve any punishment that Keigetsu might get.
いや、蠱毒の呪いで死ぬはずだろ。それに別の面から言っても、殿下の寵愛する妃を傷つけて、それを殿下と護衛の隊長に目撃されてるんだぞ。呪いで死ななくても処刑で死ぬ。本当にひっくり返す方法があるとしたら、事件が表に出ないまま玲琳が許してやってくれと説得するか、絹秀が止めるかくらいだな
I mean, the venom curse should kill her, but on the other note, she harmed the prince's prized consort, witnessed by the prince and captain of the guard. If the venom craft doesn't kill her the execution will. The only way to really overturn it is if its never exposed and reirin convinces them to forgive or kenshuu prevents it

宮廷ドラマってものを知ってるなら、雅媚のさらに奥に、もっと大きくて隠れた黒幕がいるはずだ。
If I know anything about court dramas, there would be an even bigger, more hidden person behind the acts of Shu Gabi.
まあそうだな、金麗雅だよ。自分の子が死産だったのに親友の黄絹秀は健康な子を産んだからって、雅媚にその親友を憎むよう吹き込んだ二枚舌の性悪女。
それに（これを見落としてる人が多いみたいだけど）、「雅媚にとって生きる力になってるのは絹秀への憎しみだけだ」って考えを絹秀の頭に植え付けたのも彼女なんだよ。そのせいで絹秀は、その憎しみをくすぶらせたままにしておくことにした。
明らかに、雅媚が皇后を殺して、その罪で処刑されれば、自分が皇后になれるって狙いで全部やってたんだろうな。
で……問題はこれだ。金麗雅を裏で操ってる黒幕がいるのか？
Well yeah, Kin Reiga, the duplicitous harpy who talked Shu Gabi into hating her best friend, Kou Kenshuu, for having a healthy child while hers was stillborn.
While also (and a lot of people seem to have missed this) being the one to put the idea that hating her was the only thing giving Gabi strength into Kou Kenshuu's head, which is what led to her deciding to let that hate fester.
Clearly, she was doing all of this in hopes that Gabi would kill the Empress and then be executed for that in turn, so that she could become Empress.
Now... The question is: Is there a hidden person pulling Kin Reiga's strings?
このアニメほんと好きだし、すごくよく書けてると思う。よくある「ぐずぐずしてたせいで計画を邪魔される」って展開って、登場人物がただ座って話が動くのを待ってるだけだから見ててイライラすることが多いじゃん。でも今回は朱慧月と玲琳が二人で一緒にやりたかったっていうちゃんとした理由があったし、「いや、私が犠牲になる！」みたいな流れにもならなかった。
見始めた時は、ここまで好きになるとは思ってなかったけど、キャラがみんな愛おしすぎる
I really like this show and its been so well written. You know a lot of the time you get the "we waited too long now our plan is being interrupted" is frustrating to watch because its people just sit there waiting for the plot to happen but we have a real reason here where Shu and Reirin wanted to do it together and it didnt even devolve into one of those "No let me sacrifice myself instead!" moments.
I really didnt think I would like this show as much as I do starting it but the cast is so lovable.

And you don't know what they'll do. Lee lee even demonstrated that by approaching Gabi and she immediately tried to cut her.
この場面の間、慧月が莉莉を人質に取って朱雅媚を脅してたら面白かったのに、って考えずにいられなかったw
……まあ何はともあれ、終わり良ければすべて良し。朱雅媚と皇后が話す機会があるといいな。
今回の殿下はなかなかカッコよかったと思う。あと慧月と莉莉がこれからどう絡んでいくのか見たい！
during this scene, I couldn't help but think it would've been funny if Keigetsu took Leelee hostage to threaten Shu Gabi hahaha
...anyways, all's well that ends well. I hope Shu Gabi and the Empress get a chance to speak with each other.
I think the Prince was pretty cool this episode. And I wanna see how Keigetsu and Leelee interact with each other going forward!

黄家の女が牢にいる朱家の女を訪ねるっていう、一周回って戻ってくる場面にもなりそうだよな。魔法も入れ替わりも抜きでさ。
これから慧月がどうなるのかほんと気になる。雅媚は朱家も自分と一緒に沈むと思ってるし、慧月の味方は玲琳しかいない

It would be kind of a full-circle moment where a Kou Clan woman visits a Shu Clan woman in prison, minus magic or body-swapping being involved.
I am really curious what is going to happen to Keigetsu now. Gabi thinks the Shu Clan is going to go down with her and the only person on Keigetsu' side is Reirin.
玲琳がどういう人かはもう分かってるだろ。毒を流しただけで自分の侍女を罰したんだぞ。殿下は「彼女」が殺されることを積極的に望んでたし、何度も話を聞くのを拒んでた。殿下にはでっかい罰が待ってるから、この先慧月とのデートがいくつかあると予想してる（彼女が望もうが望むまいがな！）
We know what Reirin is like, she punished her court lady over passing on some poison. The prince actively wanted "her" to get killed and multiple times refused to hear her out. He's got some big punishment coming his way so anticipating some dates with Keigetsu in the future (regardless of if she wants it or not!).
玲琳はほんと面白すぎるキャラだわ。慧月との関係が育っていくのが大好き。ヒロイン対悪女ってだけじゃなくて、二人の主人公の物語になってるのがすごくいい。
本物の悪女である雅媚との対決もクライマックスとして良かった。あの人、この時点でもう完全に正気じゃないかもな。
辰宇と尭明のアシストもすごく助かった
Reirin is just too fun of a character, I love her developing relationship with Keigetsu. I really appreciate that it's a dual protagonist story with the two of them and simply heroine vs villainess.
Good climactic confrontation with the actual villainess Gabi who might be straight up insane at this point.
Very helpful assist from Shin and Gyoumei.

正直、怪異の要素、宮廷の陰謀、世代を重ねた鏡写しの構図、それにメインの二人以外のキャラもただのモブじゃなくて、ちゃんと物事や周りの人に気づいてるところとか？ 文句なしで今期の自分のベストアニメだわ。疲れすぎてて今年楽しんだもの全部は思い出せないけどw

濃い回だった。玲琳は意図せずツンデレの追い詰め方を見つけちゃったな。素直に、愛情たっぷりに接すればいいっていう。雅媚については、今回のデザインが大好き。しゃべり方、歪んだ顔、最後は必死に玲琳を殺そうとしてたところとか。莉莉はあやうく大怪我するところだったけど、スーパーウーマン玲琳がそうはさせなかった
Intense episode. Reirin unintentionally found out how to corner a tsundere, just be honest and affectionate. As for Gabi, love her design in this episode, the way she spoke, her face contorted and in the end went desperate to kill Reirin. Leelee was almost seriously wounded, but superwoman Reirin wasn't gonna let that happen.
雅媚はすごかった。気品ある衣装、装飾品、化粧、大人の色気みたいな彼女の美しさを全部見せつけたうえで、それを全部ねじ曲げて、どこを取っても恐ろしく見せてた。ほんと引き込まれた
Gabi was amazing. It's like the episode showcased all her beauty, like her regal outfit, jewelry, makeup, and maturity, and twisted it all to make every bit of that horrifying. It was so captivating.

それにこのアニメの放送期間のほとんどは入れ替わった体の二人を見てきたから、このままの方が自然に感じるんだよな。二人とも、弓を手に入れるとか罰を避けるとか、外の事情がなければ急いで元に戻りたがってるようにも見えないし
i think it's like they needed to be in these two environments to grow as people; Reirin to experience a life and freedom with a healthy body and Keigetsu to experience a bit of coddling and warmth
i think we've also seen them in their swapped bodies for most of the runtime of this show, so it feels more natural to keep it as-is, and it seems like they're not really eager to go back soon other than for external circumstances like getting access to the bow or avoid punishment
どっちかというと、玲琳には甘やかし続けずにバカやったらちゃんと叱ってくれる侍女（莉莉）が必要で、慧月には鍛え直して乙女らしい振る舞いを仕込んでくれる侍女（冬雪）が必要って話だな
More like Reirin needs a court lady that won't keep pampering her and tell her off when she acts dumb (Leelee) and Keigetsu needs a court lady that will whip her into shape and teach her to act as maiden should (Tousetsu).

膠着の場面では、殿下か辰宇が格好よく登場して助けると思ってた。玲琳が一人で雅媚を倒したのは意外だった。サスガ、丈夫な体！
During the standoff, I was expecting either the Prince or the Captain of the Eagle Eyes to make a cool entry and save them. Reirin taking down Shu Gabi on her own was a surprise for me. Sasuga, robust body!
尭明と冬雪の後ろにいた護衛二人、あの一部始終を見ながら内心パニックになってたと想像したい。絶対に聞いちゃいけない、見ちゃいけないことを山ほど見聞きしちゃったわけだしw
I'd like to imagine those two guards behind Gyoumei and Tousetsu were internally freaking out while watching that entire thing unfold. They just heard and saw a bunch of things they really shouldn't have. xD

Considering her new body can take on someone with a knife to her throat without breaking a sweat, probably not in the biggest rush to swap back to one that struggles to move.
アニメと、該当する漫画の話数を比べると……セリフは少し細かいところが削られてるけど、そこまで悪くない。【漫画のネタバレ】例えば、玲琳は呪いの反動が体に行くのか魂に行くのかを問いただしてないけど、アニメは、うまくいかなかったら慧月が命で払う覚悟だってことをちゃんと示し切ってる。
むしろ省かれたのは【漫画のネタバレ】雅媚が麗雅にどう煽られたかの回想で、まだ見られる可能性もあるし、ある程度はもう匂わされてた。
雅媚の登場で終わると思ってたから、その先まで進んだのは嬉しい驚きだった……もしかしたらしっかりしたエピローグがあるかもな
Comparing the anime to the manga chapters covered... the dialogue loses a little detail but it's not too bad. [Manga] >!For example, Reirin doesn't inquire whether the curse backlash goes to the body or the soul, but the anime does finish the implication that Keigetsu is ready to pay with her life if this goes wrong.!<
If anything, what was skipped was [Manga] >!Gabi's flashback on how she was taunted by Reiga!< and there might be a chance we could still see it and it was already somewhat implied.
I thought we'd only end up with Gabi's arrival but going further is a pleasant surprise... maybe we can have a substantial epilogue.
アニメで見たいけど、たぶん来ないだろうなと思うのが【漫画4巻の内容】短編「弓」。玲琳と絹秀が、朱雅媚の退場と、絹秀が彼女に贈ったものについて話す話なんだ。二人がはっきり意見を違えるのが珍しいから、すごく面白い話なんだよ。それに、玲琳は自分と慧月が呪いを刺したあの小刀を、「女同士の友情の弓」への自分なりの答えだと考えてる、ってことがはっきりする。
逆にたぶん来ると思うのが【この章の結末】絹秀が「吉と出るか凶と出るか」って先を占う場面。尭明と辰宇の上半身裸のマッチョが付くかどうかは分からないけど
One thing I would love to see animated that I don't think we're going to get is \[story content from the manga, volume 4\] >!the short story "The Bow," where Reirin and Kenshuu have a talk about Shu Gabi's departure and Kenshuu's gift for her. It's a really fascinating story since it's a rare instance of the two of them having a visible disagreement, and establishes that Reirin thinks of the knife she and Keigetsu stabbed the curse with as her answer to the Bow of Lesbian Friendship.!<
What I DO think we'll get is \[end of arc information\] >!the scene where Kenshuu predicts "boon or bane" upcoming, with or without shirtless beefcake from Gyoumei and Shin'u.!<
ちょっと待って、破魔の弓は何百年も弦を張りっぱなしだったって言った？ 弓ってそういうもんじゃないぞ。それでもまだ使えるなら、それだけで魔法だっていう動かぬ証拠だわ。
ブンキョウが弓が壊れたみたいな反応をしてた時点で、作者が弓の弦は外しておくものだって知らなかったのは明らかだったけど、他の翻訳はそこまで極端な言い回しじゃなかった。
どっちが表情豊かだったか決めきれないあたり、漫画の作画の良さがよく分かる。でも可愛さではアニメの勝ちだと言える。声の演技のおかげで、ギャグよりドラマ寄りの感情的な場面はだいたいアニメの勝ちで、逆に軽いノリやテンション高めの場面は、作画を崩せる分漫画の勝ちだと思う。
もともと、人より蜘蛛に呪い返しをする方が気が楽だって言ったのは玲琳だったんだよな。なんでそのセリフを慧月に回したのかは分からない。それと、玲琳が反動を受けるのは魂か体かを問いただす言い回しも避けてた。たぶん玲琳が慧月を疑ってたと取られないようにしたんだろうけど（そうじゃないと慧月が元に戻りたがらなかった理由に見えかねないから）、文脈的には、刺す前に狙いが魂だって確かめたかったって感じだったんだよ。
二人の魂の運命を結びつけるっていう玲琳の決意がこもった、あの感動の告白シーン……！ 朱雅媚は明らかにかなり聞いてたから、終わるまで礼儀正しく待っててくれたって想像したい。本当にどうしようもなくなるまで割り込むなんて、淑女らしくないもんな。それに、あの時の彼女は絹秀のことで何か感じてたのかもしれない。
【次回のネタバレ】もう本当に終わりが近くて、ずっと出番を削ってきた男たちのマッチョな目の保養で締めることになるのかと思ってたけど、ページ数を考えるとちゃんとした決着で終われそうだ。でもそうすると次の章の前振りにもなっちゃうんだよな……弓の競技大会自体に文句はないけど、もっと力強いところで終わった方が物語としてずっと美しいと思う
Excuse me, did they say the Bow of Warding has been strung for several hundred years? That is *not* how bows work, if the bow is still functional then that alone is undeniable proof that it's magic.
It was clear the writer didn't know that you're supposed to unstring bows just from Bunkyou acting like the bow had been broken, but the other translations weren't worded to that extreme.
It's a testament to how good the manga art is that I'm not sure which one was more expressive, but I can say the anime wins on cuteness. The anime probably wins on most scenes where the emotions are more drama than comedy thanks to the voice acting, whereas the manga wins on the more light-hearted or high-energy scenes because it can go off-model.
Reirin was originally the one who said it's easier to deal with the idea of countercursing the spider than a person; I'm not sure why they gave that line to Keigetsu. They also avoided the wording where Reirin demands to know whether the soul or body receives the backlash; I guess this avoids the implication that she suspected Keigetsu (because otherwise it might be why Keigetsu didn't want to switch back) but in context it was more like she wants to confirm the soul is the target before she does the stabbing.
The emotional confession scene with Reirin's commitment to tie the fates of their souls together...! Shu Gabi evidently heard much of it, so I like to imagine she politely waited for it to finish. It would be so unladylike to interrupt until she absolutely had to. And she was possibly having emotions about Kenshuu at the time.
[Next episode] >!I thought we were really close to the end and it would mean ending off with muscular male eye candy after constantly diminishing their role, but given the page count, we could easily end at the proper resolution. But then again it does set up the next arc somewhat... I don't have anything against the archery competition itself but the story is just more beautiful if it ends on a stronger note.!<

It’s not uncommon to call something like that a centuries old sacred relic when it’s actually relatively new. Sure the clan says it’s the same bow and string that the original artisan first put on it but it’s not like anybody could verify that

うっかり任務完了。二人でやるって話はどこへやら。玲琳のさらっとした言い方が最高に笑えた。
恋愛的な意味ではないかもしれないけど、あの告白はそういう要素を全部備えてた。モノローグから映像、音楽まで、間違いなく恋の告白に負けないくらい美しかった。生まれてからずっと人に見下されてきた慧月が、自分の良さを見て認めてくれる人をついに見つけたんだよ。一方の玲琳はかなりグイグイいく。ほとんど慧月に「今から私たちは友達です。お願いしてるわけじゃありませんよ」って言ってるようなもんだった。

争いが（ほぼ）片付いた今、ここからどうなるんだろう？
玲琳が慧月のためにしてきたこと全部（あの「告白」も含めて）を考えると、慧月も入れ替わりを元に戻すのにずっと抵抗が少なくなってるはず。尭明はどのみちもう知ってたし、玲琳の口添えがあれば、慧月はせいぜい軽いお咎めで済むと思う。
来週の最終回は、たぶんこの章の「エピローグ」と次の章への前振りになるんじゃないかな。続編が真剣に検討されてて、最終回の放送後すぐに発表されることを願ってる

Task accidentally completed – so much for doing it together. The nonchalant way Reirin said it was hilarious.
It might not be exactly in a romantic sense, but that confession had all the hallmarks of it. From the monologue to visuals to music, it's certainly no less beautiful. After an entire lifetime of people talking down on her, Keigetsu had now found someone who saw and valued her virtues. Meanwhile, Reirin's quite assertive. She pretty much said to Keigetsu, "*Starting from now, we're friends. And I'm not asking.*"

Now that the conflict has been (mostly) resolved, how will things go on?
After everything that Reirin had done for Keigetsu (incl the "confession"), she'd be a lot less reluctant to reverse the switch. Gyoumei was already aware of it anyway, and with Reirin's sway, I'm sure Keigetsu would get a slap on the wrist at most.
Next week's finale will probably consist of this arc's 'epilogue' along with some setup for the next arc. I do hope that a sequel has been seriously considered and for the announcement to be made soon after the finale aired.

Well -- the fact that this is the very first actual friendship both these two has ever had makes it pretty intense -- regardless of how it is characterized.
この回を見て、玲琳と慧月の「友情」を全力で推すことにした。この二人は一緒にいると本当に楽しいし、慧月のツンデレモードが発動するとなおさらだ。
朱雅媚は復讐で完全に正気を失ってたけど、どうしても気の毒に思っちゃう。幼い息子を亡くしたのはものすごく辛かったはずなのに、友人だった絹秀はそこに一度も向き合わず、雅媚の心の中で憎しみが育つのを放っておいた。絹秀側の大失態なのは間違いないし、彼女にはもうちょっと根性が必要みたいだな。
それと言わせてほしいんだけど、朱雅媚を倒したときの玲琳はめちゃくちゃカッコよかった。前の体でやってた鍛錬が結局すごく役に立ったな。
ところで、あの蜘蛛の呪いは見た目が本気で怖すぎる。朱雅媚があんなに怯えてたのも無理ないわ。

that spider curse looks absolutely terrifying, no wonder Shu Gabi was so scared.
A 2m+ tall spider is a very very scary thought, no different from an equally large centipede. But it's also poetic justice, the right animal for what she did.

・慧月と玲琳のやり取りを、莉莉が横で見守る構図。玲琳は誰にも止められない存在で、周りはみんな振り回されるしかない！
・「勘違いしないでよね！あんたのためにやるんじゃないんだから！」――ツンデレ慧月、ついでに「バ、バカ！」も付けといたら？
・二人がしゃべってたせいで雅媚が来る時間ができて、慧月の体を人質に取られたのはイラッとしたけど、それが「すぐ」片付いた！次回まで引っ張ると思ってたわ！
・拘束から自力で抜け出して、ムカデを仕留めて慧月に差し出したと思ったら「あ、死んじゃった」🤣
・で、最後に辰宇と尭明が駆けつけて一件落着
良すぎて2回見た。

Just... wow. What an amazing episode.

* The dynamic of Keigetsu and Reirin with Leelee watching from the sidelines. Reirin is a force that cannot be stopped and everyone else is stuck on the ride!
* **"Don't get me wrong! I'm not doing it for your sake!"** - Tsundere Keigetsu, why don't you add a "B-baka!" too while you are at it

Well he is the Crown Prince in an absolute monarchy. There are... ways that he can take to ensure their silence.

原文は This hag scares me. 英語の hag は本来、鬼婆や醜い老婆を指す言葉で、魔女のイメージとも結びついています。4chan ではこれが年上の女性キャラを指す定番の呼び方になっていて、まだ若い大人の女性にまで向けられることがあるようです。ここでは悪意をむき出しにした雅媚を、文字どおりの鬼婆として怖がっているのでしょう。訳の「ハグ」は抱擁ではなく、この hag のことです。

本作の英題 Though I Am an Inept Villainess の Villainess を Crown Prince に差し替えた言葉遊びです。直前で尭明が役立たずと言われたのを受けて、英題の inept（不器用な、無能な）を彼に当てはめています。返信の Insipid prince は、『出涸らし皇子の暗躍帝位争い』の英題 The Insipid Prince's Furtive Grab for the Throne のことでしょう。頭の音まで似た皇子ものを連想したようです。

映画『ショーシャンクの空に』（1994年）が元ネタです。無実の罪で投獄された主人公アンディが、いつか暮らしたい場所として語り、最後に脱獄して向かうのがメキシコの太平洋岸の町ジワタネホでした。英語圏では逃亡先や第二の人生の代名詞のように使われる地名です。処刑を免れる道として、体を入れ替えてまんまと逃げ延びる結末を、この名作の脱獄になぞらえて冗談にしています。

Oh my god, they were roommates（なんてこと、二人はルームメイトだったのね）という、英語圏で有名な短い動画のもじりです。どう見ても恋人同士の二人が、文献や公式ではただの同居人として扱われていることを茶化す決まり文句として、同性カップルの話題で特によく使われます。ここでは友情と言い張られる玲琳と慧月の関係を、体を入れ替えた仲に置き換えて冷やかしています。返信の彗星は、言うまでもなく入れ替わりものの代表作のことでしょう。
総評
雅媚は「このハグ、怖すぎる。」と恐れられました。これに「お腹の子を亡くすより小さなことで狂った女だっているんだぞ」と返す人と、「アニメの方が威圧感あったな」と漫画と比べる人が並び、後者には「玲琳が人質に取られたのはやっぱり納得いかない」とさらに返信が付きます。尭明には「役立たずめ」と容赦がなく、「ふつつかな皇太子ではございますが……」と英題をもじる人まで出ました。
