Rein just can't stop himself from being absolutely hilarious. That paper at the end is very suspicious no doubt it has been planted there by someone.

先週と同じで、暗い背景と、この先ドラマにつながりそうな筋がある。でもレインの奇行がその空気をうまく和らげて、笑いもたっぷりくれる。

How many times is Rein going to end up naked in this series? haha

Same deal as previous week: there is a dark background and plotline which might lead to some drama down the line, but Rein antics balance that atmosphere nicely and gives us a lot of comedy still.

この終わり方、笑った。この竜との戦いと、お互いを裏切り合うところを早く見たい。

It's earnest in everything! Being a parody, the violence, it's protagonists' stupidy, the animation...everything!

生まれたままの姿で現れて、犬に頭をガジガジかじられてるのも笑えたけど、いちばん好きなのは「はじめてのセクシー体験」のくだりで、犬がきょとんと首をかしげてたところだ（笑）　ゴブリンのスローモーションと、レインがまた服をはがされるところもいいギャグだった。
あのメモは、マーガレットの復讐心に油を注ぐだけだろうな。実際に何があったのか、暗殺の企みがどうなるのか、すごく気になる。

Bro showing up naked as the day he was born with a dog gnawing on his damn head was funny, but the “my first sexy experience” with the dog lookin all quizzical was my favorite bit lol. The slowmo with the goblin and Rein getting his clothes torn (again) were great gags too.
That note is only gonna be fuel for Margaret’s vendetta. Really curious what actually happened and what’s gonna go down with the assassination attempt.

三話くらいかけて悪だくみしてたのに、何の意味もなかったみたいにあっさり殺されるの、好きだな。

I love how she plots evilly for like three episodes and is then quickly killed like it never mattered.

前の話数に出てたかどうかも覚えてない。

I don't even remember her from previous eps.

グレンダがしたことと言えば、「レインを捜せ。王獣の牙に逆らうとどうなるか思い知らせろ」と言っただけ。そして、今日死んだ。

The only thing Glenda did was say "Find Rein. Show him what it means to go against Beast Fangs"
And then
Today she died.

レインにはモードが二つしかない。その場でいちばん人の気持ちが分かる人か、ただの大バカか。中間は無い

この作品の温度差、ほんとにムチ打ちになりそう。

The whiplash really is insane in this series.

こんなに暴力的で容赦ないパロディ・ファンタジー、初めて見た。

This is like the most violent and brutal parody fantasy series I've ever seen.

でも、ムチ打ちってほどじゃないよ。雰囲気の切り替えには前振りもつなぎもあるし、どれもキャラらしい。ムチ打ちになるのは、何の前触れも無く切り替わって、心の準備をする暇が無いときだけだ。

It's not whiplash, though. The tonal shifts are set up, there are transitions between them, and it's all in character. Whiplash only occurs when it comes out of nowhere, so you don't get a chance to switch gears before the shift hits.

シリアスな場面とギャグの場面の落差が大きいところが好き。
レインが犬に噛まれるところと、ただのモブのゴブリンをやたら長々と描くところで爆笑した（笑）

I love how big the gap is between the serious scenes and the comedic ones.
The part where Rain gets bitten by a dog and the scene where they take an absurdly long time depicting just a random mob goblin had me cracking up lol

ゴブリンを映したのは1カットじゃなくて何カットもあって、笑わせるためにスローモーションになってた。

It was not only a single shot on the goblin but multiple, in slow motion for comedic effect.

the scene where they take an absurdly long time depicting just a random mob goblin had me cracking up lol
That even the girls are baffled why we spent so much time focusing on the goblin! But I still felt bad for him so they did their job!

ギャグの場面って、レインがいるときにしか無いんだよね。控えめに言っても、興味深い。

The comedic scenes really only exist when Rain is present, which is curious to say the least.

グレンダの最期の場面、空気の変わり方がすごかった。光と画角で、この作品の容赦なさと暗さが際立ってた。関係ないマーガレットの家を、人の死で汚していったんだ。最低なやり口だよ。

The mood shift during Glenda's death scene was insane. The lightning and angles really amplified how ruthelss and dark the series can be. They really sullied Margaret's home with a death she had nothing to do about. Talk about douchebag behavior.

オープニングに出ていても、グレンダはあっけなく容赦ない最期から逃れられなかった。
マーガレットの家に押しかけて、血の染みの掃除までさせていくなんて、ありがとうよ、王獣の牙。

Not even being in the OP was enough to save Glenda from a quick, brutal, and violent death.
Thanks Beast Fangs for crashing Margaret's place and forcing her to clean up a bunch of blood stains.

副ギルドマスターが大ボスみたいに出てきて、あっさり退場。おバカな作品なのに、容赦のなさは相変わらずだ。コーネリアスは何を考えてるんだろう。グレンダを殺したらギルドが黙ってないはず。裏切ったのか、王獣の牙がもう崩れかけてるのか。あの紙切れも気になる。濡れ衣か、誤解か、それともリリィが本当に殺して記憶を失ったのか。

The Assistant Guild Master showing up like a big boss only to get taken out just like that. As silly as this show is, it also continues to be ruthless.
Wonder what Cornelius’ deal is though. Killing her would surely not go down well with his guild. Has he gone rogue or is the Beast Fang just totally collapsing
The note is intriguing. Wonder which way is it gonna go. Getting framed, misunderstanding or did Lily actually kill them and lost her memories

「殺す」という言葉が誰かに向いた瞬間、あの子が動いたのに気づいた？ コーネリアスはよく考えずに連れてきたのかもな。汗までかいてた。

Notice how the girl moved as soon as she heard the word "kill" directed towards anyone. He may not have thought this out properly. He was even sweating.

あんなにそわそわしてたから、最初はあの子に操られてるのかと思った。でもすぐに報酬を払ってたから、その考えは捨てた。

With how fidgety he was, my initial thought was he was controlled by the girl. But then he immediately paid her after so I discarded that thought

Damn, the tonal shifts between comedy and darker moments in this episode were pretty wild! One minute we've got a naked Rein being mauled by Margaret's dog, and the next, Glenda is getting murdered by Cornelius and Mirabel, while Margaret doesn't even blink an eye.
Plus, Margaret's hatred towards Lily is still so big. She looked like she started warming up a little to her (and Rein) in that dungeon, but that note surely will bring nothing good...

Plus, Margaret's hatred towards Lily is still so big.
And it's depriving her of basic critical thinking, like she doesn't understand what guilt and empathy are anymore. Lily is scared and despite having a hard time fighting she came anyway because her guilt is crushing her and needs closure, but Margaret doesn't believe her and can't see something so obvious.

この作品、なかなかぶっ飛んでる。
さっきまで裸のレインのドタバタだったのに、次の瞬間には美人の悪女が、自分のギルドの仲間とその連れのかわいい暗殺者に、容赦なくやられる。
さっきまでレインたちがゴブリンと戦ってたのに、次の瞬間には、なんでかわいそうなゴブリンくんにあんなに注目したのかってメタな話になる。
さっきまでレインが、リリィが本当に仲間を死なせたっていう証拠を見つけたと思ったら、次の瞬間には女の子たちにコミカルに服をはがされてる。

This show is kind of wild.
One minute we have naked Rein antics the next the hot evil lady is brutally murdered by her own guildmate and his cute assassin.
One minute we have Rein and co. having a battle with goblins the next we're getting meta about why the show placed so much focus on poor goblin-kun.
One minute we have Rein discovering evidence that Lily DID get her party killed then the next we have him getting comedically stripped by the girls.

あのメモはまったく信じてない。でも確かに、この作品はぶっ飛んでて、振れ幅がとんでもない。

I'm not buying the note at all. But yes the show is wild and swings like crazy.

リリィの仲間がみんな死んだなら、いったい誰があのメモを書けたんだ？それとも、コーネリアスとあの暗殺者が、マーガレットから聞いて、レインたちより先にダンジョンに着いてたってこと？もしくは第三の勢力が絡んでる？

If everyone from her party died then who could have possibly written that note? Or do we believe Cornelius and the girl managed to arrive at the dungeon before our group since they were told by Margaret or is there a third party at play?

コーニーが先に着いてたのは十分ありえる。レインたちは一晩泊まって、翌朝に出発したんだから。すごく筋が通る。

Totally possible corny got there first cuz they did the whole overnight thing and went the next morning. That makes a lot of sense.

レインがいなかったら、この作品はものすごく気が滅入る話になってたと思う。

Without Rain, this would be a super depressing show.

レインなら、このすばにすっかり溶け込めそう。

Rein would fit right into Konosuba.

レインが予備の短剣みたいな武器に付与し直してる間に、コーネリアスとミラベルが襲ってくると思ってた。付与に時間がかかるのは、レインの能力の弱点だよね。特に、その場で危険が迫ってる状況では。
最後のゴブリンはかわいそう。斬られたうえに、落ちてきた瓦礫につぶされたんだから。

I was expecting Cornelius and Mirabelle to attack when Rein was re-enchanting his spare dagger looking weapons. The time required to enchant weapons is a disadvantage in Rein's ability, especially in real-time dangerous situations.
Got to pity the last goblin. He got sliced and crushed by falling debris.

そうそう、コーネリアスが何を企んでるのか本当に気になる。出発した直後に襲うものだと思ってたけど、マーガレットがリリィを殺すか、姉に本当は何があったのかを突き止めるまで、引き延ばしてるみたいだ。

Yeah, I'm really wondering what Cornelius' plan is because I thought they were supposed to get at him right when they left but it seems like they're dragging it out until Margaret's killed Lily or figured out what really happened to her sister?

仲間のことをすごく大事にしてるのに、注目もお金もひとり占めしたがる主人公でもあるところが好き（笑）

I love how he cares so much about his partymates but he also wants to be that MC who hogs all the attention/money lol.

レインは「主人公病」にかかってる。友情の力を信じてるうえに、自分は脇役たちより上だとも思ってるんだ。
これは楽しくてほのぼのした追放ファンタジーってだけの作品じゃない。マーガレットは本気で殺しを企んでるし、自分の家で突然むごい殺しが起きてもほとんど動じないし、リリィは仲間全員の死に責任があると疑われてるし、レインは脱ぎ続けてる。まあ、一つだけ毛色が違うけど、それでも！
グレンダ、安らかに。豊口めぐみさんの声が聞けただけでうれしかった。
もしかして、現代の世界に魔法やファンタジーが持ち込まれて、人間が順応しなきゃいけなくなった、みたいな世界なのかな？　それとも、ただのギャグ？
ゴブリンがみんな人間離れした、うなる怪物の顔をしてるのに、あの一匹だけは必死に逃げてるだけで、そのせいで消されるのが好き（笑）

Rein's got MC-itis. He believes in the power of friendship AND how he's better than his supporting cast.
This is not just a fun and wholesome Banished Fantasy show. Margaret is legit plotting murder, a sudden violent murder occurs in her house and she barely reacts to it, Lily is suspected of being responsible for the death of her entire party, and Rein keeps stripping. Okay, one of those is not like the other but still!
RIP Glenda. I was just happy to hear Megumi Toyoguchi.
Maybe this is like some kind of world where magic/fantasy was injected into our modern world and humans have to adapt? Or it's just there for comedy.
I love how all the goblins have these inhumane, snarling, monster face except that one goblin when he's just running to save himself and gets murked for his trouble lol.

付与した鎧も、体からひょいと引っぺがされたら大して役に立たないな。張ってる防御の膜は、ある程度の強さの攻撃にしか効かないのかな？誰かがそっと首に手を回して、そのまま締めたらどうなるんだろう？

Enchanted armor isn't so useful when someone can just grab your enchanted armor piece off of your body, I guess the forcefield it projects only works against attacks of certain strength? What would happen if someone gently put their hands around his throat and then squeezed?

Not sure who is more dense, Rein or Margaret..

遺跡に入って、死を覚悟する瞬間をくぐってから、マーガレットが協力的になったのはうれしい。リリィの仲間たちの死の真相と、リリィだけが生き残った理由が次回明かされるといいな。でも、あの紙切れはかなり気になる。それにしても、レインが服には少しも付与してないのは意外だった。ナイフを振るだけで瓦礫の山ができるのに。ナイフを手に持ったまま走ってたのも笑った。振るだけで力が出ると思ってたから。

It's nice to see Margaret more cooperative now that they're in the dungeon, after she encountered a sure death moment. Hopefully the mystery behind Lily's party's deaths and how she came out alive will be revealed next episode, but that note is very concerning.

Rein not enchanting his clothes even mildly is a surprise, especially with all the rubble he creates just from swinging his knives. I do find it funny how he was running with the knife in hand, I thought any swinging motion would trigger its power.

殺し、裏切り、生き残った罪悪感、復讐が当たり前の、暗く厳しいファンタジーなんだ。
いつ死んでもおかしくない。住みたくない世界だよ。
……
そこに、ぶっ壊れスキル持ちで知能マイナスの主人公を放り込んで、思い込みを全部窓から投げ捨てる。
この話がどこへ向かうのか見当もつかないけど、しっかりベルトを締めて付いていくよ。

I think I understand this show now.
It is a grim, dark fantasy where Murder, Betrayal, Survivor's Guilt, and Revenge are common.
You could die at the drop of a hat. It is not a nice world to live in.
...
And then we throw in a Main Character with an absurdly broken skill with NEGATIVE IQ in the mix, breaking all preconceived notions out the window.
I have no idea where this story is headed but I'm strapped in for the ride.

主人公だけ、もっとずっとギャグ寄りの別のアニメから来てて、周りはみんな戸惑ってる感じ（笑）

It feels like MC is part of a different show that is way more comedic than the show he is in and everyone else is just confused 😂

グレンダの最期で妙なのは、マーガレットがグレンダを見て、やっとレインをさらえると自信を持ったのに、能力も分からないまま消えたことだ。

What's weird about her death is the fact that Margaret was only confident that they can kidnap Rein once she saw her, just for her to be gone with no clue given about her abilities.

ゴブリンについては、ここのみんなが同じ気持ちで嬉しい。とんだ災難だよ。災害の前では、敵も味方もない。

I'm happy that everyone here is on the same page about the goblin. Talk about a raw deal. There are no enemies in a disaster

面白いのは、町はずれに古い電柱や自販機、壊れた車があちこちに映ってること。世界観の作り込みとしていいし、よくあるお約束をひねる仕掛けにもなってる。11分28秒あたり。魔法で文明が滅んだ後の世界？

What I find really interesting is that we can see old power poles, vending machines and a broken down car throughout the episode on the outskirts of the city. Really nice touch to the world building and adds another layer of subversion from normal tropes. @ 11:28. Post magic apocalypse world?

レインは、仲間の安全と、何事もなく無事に連れて帰ることには命がけで真剣なんだ。残念ながら、とんでもなくおバカで鈍くもある。だから、向かってくるゴブリンが脅威かもしれないってことだけに気を取られて、周りで起きてることを文字どおり何も考えてなかった。

Rein is deathly serious about the safety of his allies and bringing them home safely without any incident. Sadly, Rein is also incredibly stupid and dense. So he hyperfixated on the Goblin running towards them as a potential threat not taking into consideration literally everything happening around them

メモの横でレインが金貨を見つける少し前に、コーネリアスが暗殺者に金貨を渡す場面もあったよ。

There's also a scene where Cornelius gives gold coins to the assassin, not long before Rein finds a gold coin next to the note

確かめたら、コーネリアスは暗殺者に金貨を3枚渡してた。でも暗くて、絵柄までは見えなかった。

I checked and Cornelius gave 3 coins to the girl but it was dark so we could not see the picture.

たぶん、マーガレットが真相を突き止めてから動くように、マーガレットと示し合わせてるんだと思う。マーガレットも、姉に何があったのか本当に知りたがってたから。

My guess is they coordinated with Margret to only do so after she finds out the truth, as Margret also really wanted to find out what happened to her sister

第1話の時点で、家の壁にエアコンの室外機が付いてた。

このエンディング曲は、絶対に飛ばせない。前の回で飛ばそうとしたけど、聴きたい気持ちに勝てなかった。うん、この作品はエンディングを飛ばさないことにする。

There is no way I will be able to skip the ED song. Tried to on the last episode, but couldn't resist the urge to listen to it. Well, no ED skip for this show I guess.

誰かがグレンダに、コーネリアスに逆らうと、いや、ちょっと機嫌を損ねるだけでどうなるか、思い知らせてやるべきだったな。

この作品は「ギャップ」の研究みたいだ。どのキャラにも致命的な欠点や見落としがあって、それが話に変化球を生む。でも、それぞれ筋は通ってるから成り立ってる。

This show seems to be a study on gaps. Every character seems to have a critical flaw, failing, or blind spot that creates narrative curveballs. However they are internally consistent so it works.

まさにそれ。このやり方、すごく楽しんでる。

Amazing show so far. Seems some are confused by the tone switches, that's not a problem at all. If anything it shows that the world is going to be deeper than just some goofy mess, and we're seeing how a serious and actually dark world reacts to a character that is the complete opposite for legitimate reasons.

「ある意味」賢いね。レインたちのギルドだけがルールを守ってる感じがする（町に与えた被害は直すし、ちゃんとした理由なしに他のギルドを襲わない、とか）。なのに戦う相手はみんな好き勝手やって、これといった報いも受けない（第1話では軍勢でギルドを襲ってきた連中、第2話では王獣の牙が他のギルドの人間を平気で殺して、レインをさらう計画を人に堂々と話して、そのうえ自分のギルドの仲間まで殺す）。相手よりずっと強い主人公とリリィを抑えておくためだけに、ルールがあるみたいだ。

Sort of intelligent, it feels like their guild is the only one following any rules (repairing the damage he did to the town, not attacking other guilds without proper cause etc) while everyone they fight just does whatever they want with no apparent consequences (the gang attacking their guild with an army ep 1, Beast Fangs straight up murdering other guild members in ep 2 and openly telling other people they plan to kidnap Rein and then murdering their own guildmates). It feels like the rules exist just to keep the MC and Lilly in check since they're so much stronger than their opponents.

The slowmo with the goblin and Rein getting his clothes torn (again) were great gags too.
Lily/Margaret: "Why are we spending so much screentime with this goblin!?"
That note is only gonna be fuel for Margaret’s vendetta. Really curious what actually happened and what’s gonna go down with the assassination attempt.
Maybe some of the party thought Lily was responsible while the rest didn't? Or maybe...Lily wrote it herself to project her guilt?
Also are Cornelius and Mirabel following them?

この作品はギャグが最高だし、ひどい連中の描き方もやりすぎ寸前で踏みとどまってる。もっとバカな冒険が見たくて、大げさな復讐はもっと減らしてほしい。

This show has great comedy and it only just rides the line on being too extra with the awful people. I want more silly adventure and less over the top revenge.
Still enjoying the ride though!

That last shot after Rein's clothes were ripped off gave me stupid sexy Flanders vibes. lol
I am interested in what happens next. Do they find the old group's bodies? Can they CSI their way into proving Lily was innocent? How will they win over the cute assassin? Looking forward to next week!

I hope not. She's already pretty irredeemable in my eyes. Maybe if she kept the killing Lily stuff in her head and then changed her mind, I could live with that. But she already conspired to kill Rein by feeding info to the other guy, which is a step too far for me.

4週目になっても、これが良い作品なのかどうか、まだ首をひねってる。すごく良いところ（美術、作画、脚本の一部）もあるけど、この作品が何になろうとしてるのかがまだ分からない。

4 weeks in and I'm still scratching my head on whether or not this is good. There are elements of it that are extremely good (art, animation, some of the writing) but I can't figure out yet what the show is trying to be.

復讐に燃える妹の話にあんなに尺を取らなければ、ずっと良くなると思う。あのキャラ、ほんとにうっとうしくなってきた。それと、あのかわいそうな子にいいかげんズボンをはかせてやってくれない？　付与した鎧があっても、脚を斬り落とされるぞ。

I think it would be a lot better without the vengeful sister plot taking up so much, that character is getting really annoying, can they also give the poor girl some pants ffs? Even with enchanted armor she's going to get her legs cut off.

あの筋が足を引っぱってるのは確かだね。でも話の中心だから、何か意味のあるところへ持っていくはず。最後に報われるかも？　様子を見よう。

That part of the storyline is definitely what drags it down. But it is so central to the story that they have to be going somewhere meaningful with it. Maybe the payoff will be worth it? We'll see.

Yeah it would be a lot more fun if it was just Rein and Lily hanging out and developing that relationship more. Margaret and the guild revenge side story is too tropey and boring.

自分も同じ感想。美術と作画は素晴らしいし、本当に笑えるギャグもあるし、レインとリリィは好感が持てる。でも脚本があちこちに飛んで、おふざけと悲劇の間を行ったり来たりしてる。それに、ばかげたほど復讐に執着するマーガレットは、キャラとして本当に好きになれない。今では作品の足を引っぱってる。
それと、マーガレットの衣装も、理屈で考える以上にイライラしてきた。ズボンをはいてないんだけど、それがすごく間抜けに見えて、しかも笑える感じじゃない。なんでズボンをはかないんだ？　サービスだとしても成り立ってない。本気で、なんで？

I have the same reaction. The art and animation are great, some of the jokes are truly funny, Rein and Lily are likeable characters, but the writing is all over the place and jumping back and forth from goofiness to tragedy, and I truly dislike Margaret as a character with her absurd obsession with revenge, she is really dragging down the show now.
Plus, Margaret’s costume is also really starting to annoy me way more than it logically should. She is not wearing pants, and it looks so stupid and not in a funny way. Why is she not wearing pants ? Even as fanservice, this is not working. Seriously, why ?

レインがあのCOOL DRAGONの鎧を買ったのが、これでやっとリリィとマーガレットを見下せると思ったからだっていうのが最高！　レインがただの優しい主人公じゃなくて、けっこう性格のひねくれた面もあるところがいい（笑）
マーガレットがリリィの+300の鎧をどう突破するのか気になってたけど、まさかレインに自分の剣へ付与させるとは思わなかった。マーガレットがレインにあげた追加の鎧が、リリィを殺すための剣に付与してもらう代金だって気づくと、なかなかエグい。
王獣の牙のギルドマスターに比べて、副ギルドマスターのほうがギルドの急落にこたえてるみたいだ。でも、あの場面が副ギルドマスターの死で終わるとは思わなかった。あの場面での役割は、殺されて、コーネリアスが自分の復讐しか頭にないって見せることなんだろうな。
マーガレットが復讐にのみ込まれてるのは分かるけど、サイコパスと手を組んで、自分の家の食堂で人が殺されても眉ひとつ動かさなかった時点で、もう手遅れだと思う。ここからどうやって立ち直るのか気になる。
この作品の変てこな背景美術と独特の舞台が本当に好き。何もない所にボロボロの電話ボックスがあったり、城壁に沿って電線が走ってたり。明らかに中世なのに、電気も電話も使ってる。
やれやれ、レインの指示に従うって約束はどこへやら。遺跡に着いたらマーガレットが単独行動に走るのは分かってた。でもゴブリンとの戦いはなかなかすごかった！　マーガレットなら全部の攻撃に耐えられたと思うけど、リリィは賭けたくなかったんだろうな。
あの一匹のゴブリンへの注目ぶりは笑った！　正直、逃げて、斬られて、岩につぶされるのを見て、ちょっとかわいそうになった！
レインならこうすると思ってた！　短剣をたくさん用意して、2本ずつ付与する。マントの下にびっしり武器を仕込んでるのは、けっこうかっこいい。
あの紙切れは、ちょっと都合が良すぎる気がする。リリィの記憶が戻るのが待ちきれない。ちゃんとした説明があるはずだから。

The fact that Rein bought that COOL DRAGON armour because he thought he could finally look down on Lily and Margaret was hilarious! I appreciate that Rein isn't just your typically kind MC; he actually has a pretty rotten side to his personality too. xD
I was wondering how Margaret would get around through Lily's +300 armour, I didn't think she'd actually get Rein to enchant her sword. It's kinda f****d when you realize that extra piece of armour she gave Rein, is payment for enchanting her sword so she can kill Lily.
Compared to the Beast Fangs' Guildmaster, it seems that the Vice Guildmaster is more affected by their current plummeting status. I did not expect that scene to end with her getting killed, tho. I guess her purpose in that scene is to get killed and show that Cornelius only cares about his revenge.
I know Margaret is consumed by revenge, but I feel like the second she starts working with a psychopath and doesn't even bat an eye that someone got killed in her dining room, I think she's too far gone. I'm curious how she'll redeem herself after this.
I really love the show’s wacky background art and its unique setting. Like, I love how there's just a beat-up phone box in the middle of nowhere and you can see power lines running along castle walls. Like, they're clearly medieval, but they use electricity and phones.
Welp, so much of agreeing to follow Rein's orders. I knew that as soon as they got to the ruins, Margaret would basically be on her own. That goblin fight was pretty crazy tho! I'm pretty sure Margaret could've tanked all of those hits, but I guess Lily didn't want to chance it.
The focus on that one goblin was hilarious! Not gonna lie, I kinda felt bad watching it run away, get slashed, and then get crushed by a boulder!
This is what I thought Rein would do! So he has a bunch of daggers ready, and he enchants two at a time. It's actually kinda cool how he's fully armed underneath that mantle.
That piece of paper feels a little bit too convenient. I can't wait for Lily to get her memory back because there's got to be a logical explanation for that.

この復讐の筋、全部嫌い。わざとらしすぎる。この作品は作りが本当にめちゃくちゃ良いだけに、もったいない。

I hate this whole revenge plot. It's so contrived. Which is a shame because the production of this show is really f*****g good.

雰囲気の切り替わりには、いまだに驚かされる。2話と3話を経ても、最初はレインのドタバタで始まって、そこから復讐の企みでちょっと真面目になっていく。
間違いなく今期のお気に入りの一つになりそう。見ていて本当に楽しい作品だし、ドラマや復讐の話もそこまで気にならない。小さな筋書きになってるから（早めに片づいてほしいけどね。特にマーガレット。じゃないとうっとうしくなる）。それに、レインがこんなにいい主人公になるとは、1話を見ただけじゃ思いもしなかった。正直、見事な変化球だった

I still find myself amazed at the tonal shifts,even after ep 2 and 3 going into this with rein's antics in the start then it getting a bit more serious with the whole revenge plotting going on.
Definitely shaping up to be one of my fav this season, it's just such a fun to watch show and I don't personally mind all this drama and revenge stuff since it is giving the series it's mini plot lines(which I hope are resolved quickly, especially with margret or it can get annoying) also rein is turning out to be such a good protagonist which I feel like I never would have expected from him after just the 1st episode,they really threw a curveball ngl

Ah, so Rein really is kinda an asshole. I like him. He's kinda reminding me of a bit more toned down Kazuma from Konosuba. But sadly for Rein he shares the same number of braincells with Aqua instead, meaning zero. He has his own disfunctional party of disfunctional girls as well
Things really aren't looking up for the Beast Fangs, I never expected them to get this destroyed this quickly

レインはドラゴンの鎧で冒険に出ると思ってた。あれだけ服をダメにしてるんだから必要だよ。性能が無くても、付与すればいいんだし。
この作品の雰囲気はあっちこっちに飛ぶ。殺しの尖った展開だったかと思えば、次は軽いコメディ。マーガレットまで、リリィに助けられたあとは本当に少し丸くなったみたいだった。リリィの死をあれだけ本気で望んでたのに、ちょっと早すぎる気もする。この回でいちばん良かったのは、たぶんあのゴブリンが超付与の短剣で斬られて、そのうえ岩につぶされたところ。
壊れた物に付けたレインのポイントの扱いは、ルールがころころ変わるように見える。自分で回収しないと失われるっぽいときもあれば、そうでないときもある。1本の短剣からはわざわざポイントを回収してたけど、もう1本は瓦礫に埋まったと思うんだよね。あのポイントは失ったってこと？

I expected Rein to go on the adventure with the dragon armour. he needs it with the amount of clothes he goes through, even if it has no stats he can just enchant it.
The tone of this show is all over the place It goes from edgy with murder one minute to light hearted comedy the next. Even Margaret seemed to genuinely mellow out a bit after Lily saved her, which seemed quick after how serious she was to wanting her dead. The best part of the episode was probably that goblin getting cut with the super enchanted dagger and then crushed by the boulder.
the points that Rein puts on thing that break seem to change rules constantly. Sometimes it seems like if he doesn't manually retrieve them they are lost and other times not. He took the time to retrieve the points from one dagger but the other one got buried in the rubble I think so did he just lose those points?

正直、ぶっ飛んだノリから真面目な話への切り替わりは、自分には唐突で引いてしまう。真面目な物語のほうはすごく楽しめるのに、ハチャメチャになると見るのをやめたくなる。どっちかの雰囲気に絞ってくれたら、のめり込むか切るか決められるのに。ただ、リリィとパーティーに何があったのかは気になってるから、それを知るためにたぶん見続けると思う。

Honestly, the change in tone from off-the-wall to serious is jarring and off putting for me. I really enjoy the more serious storytelling, but when it goes bonkers I just want to stop watching. I really wish they stuck with one tone so I could get invested or drop it. The story does have me interested in what happened to Lily and her party, so I'll probably stick with it just to find out.
