ここの細かい描写が好き。侍女の型はニアよりだいぶ崩れてる。ニアは脚も腕も体から真っすぐ90度に伸びてるのに、侍女のは垂れてる

I like the subtle detail here: the maid's form is a lot sloppier than Nia's. Nia's leg and arm are straight out, 90 degree angle from her body, but the maid's are droopy.

There sure are a lot of nobles who just happen to be child actors and/or martial artists. Reliared seems like a standard tsundere rival, but I can't get a read on the Princess; she's either a political genius or secretly a girl failure, no in between.

Lower manufacturing costs if they're still expensive and make more programs to appeal to everyone since magivision is still associated with the rich. Though Nia could propose the monster fighting program herself so she can fight.

I do want Nia to traumatize the instructor so they beg to become her pupil, imagine that happening in front of an audience. Lynokis continues to be unable to hide her displeasure whenever anyone disses Nia, love her xDD.

王女の狙いは、今の統治の仕組み、つまり王族とその下の貴族の値打ちを、広報で平民に納得させることだと読める。どう見ても、強権で取り締まるよりずっと受け入れやすい権力の保ち方だ。
なにしろ王家は、空の帝国ミスガリスの前例で、平民が我慢の限界に来たらどうなるかをよく知ってる。だから強引なことはできない。民が飛行船でよその国へ逃げてしまうからね。

Hmmm... not sure how I feel about Princess Hilde's motivations because I believe that royals can get f****d[...]
One could interpret her intentions as trying to convince commoners of the value of the existing governance system (i.e. royalty and the nobility below them) via public relations, which by all accounts is a much more palatable way of trying to remain in power as compared to authoritarian crackdowns.
After all, the royal family already knows full well what happens when the commoners have had enough based on the precedent set by the Sky Empire of Mythgalis. That in itself rules out anything too heavy-handed, lest their subjects flee via airships to other lands.

Poor Relia. Her words fell on deaf ears because Nia's thoughts were preoccupied with the Heavenstriker school, and the excitement she'd get from going against them. Could the instructor be a match for her or will the school take a reputation hit from being humbled by a six-year-old girl?
Her excitement's such that she radiated ki that could crack a cup. Interesting that Lilimi felt it – and the only one among the sisters who could.

I'm looking forward to when they have the most brutal fights and then the ED starts.

あの世界の人たちが「かわいいなあ」なんて言ってる様子が目に浮かぶ。ニアが満面の笑みで人の首をへし折るとも知らずにね。

I can't help but watch it every time.
I can imagine people of that world being like "oh how cute they are" without knowing that Nia will snap a persons neck while having a wide smile on her face.

そりゃニアは魔法映像を広める手伝いをしたいよな。そうすれば過激なチャンネルが増えるし、家計を支えられるのはそのおまけだ。見てて本当に楽しいから、この作品は今期の私的トップ3に入ってる。

Of course she want to help expand television so there are more brutal channels and financially support a family that's second benfit. This anime is in my top 3 of the season because of how fun it is to watch.

飾りを減らした安い機種を作れば、魔法映像はたぶん一気に広まると思う。もっと多くの人が見たがる番組を流すのは言うまでもなく。

They could probably get mass adoption of Magivision if they made less ornate and cheaper models. Not to mention broadcasting more stuff more people want to watch.

要は、新しい技術だから、権利を持ってる側がまだ高い値段を付けてるってことだと思う。テレビの初期と同じで、まず金持ちに買ってもらって需要を示さないと、量産なんて考えられない。安い機種を量産して庶民が興味を示さなかったら、大赤字になるからね。
ただ、この世界は（たしか）ほとんどが空の島だから、テレビが無いとほかの文化に触れようがない分、現実よりテレビが受け入れられやすいと思う。まあ、貴族だから、すぐに庶民のことまでは考えてないんだろうけど。

I think the point is that since it's a new technology, the trademark holders are still charging for a premium for the creation. Kinda like the early days of television I guess, they NEED for the rich people to buy first and show there's demand before they can even think about making mass produced models. It'd be a financial catastrophe if they mass produce cheap models and the masses aren't interested.
Though I think the setting here (sky islands mostly if I understand correctly) makes the concept of televisions more palatable than in the real world because of how there's no way for the masses to otherwise other cultures without TV. Then again, being that they're nobles, they aren't exactly thinking immediately about the masses I guess.

広く普及させて貴族の影響力を保つのが計画だって、はっきり言ってたじゃん。金持ちだけのものにしたら、全体の目的を果たせない計画になる。

They literally said the plan was for mass adoption so the nobles keep their influence. Keeping it just for rich people is a plan that will fail to meet their overall goals.

金持ちだけのものにしろとは言ってないよ。でも、まず金持ちに魔法映像の画面を持つ価値があると納得させられなきゃ、普及なんて絶対無理。貴族の家で目標の普及率に届かないうちは、量産しても意味がない。

I didn't say keep it for rich people, but there is zero chance of mass adoption if they cannot first convince the rich people that there is merit in owning these Magivision screens. No point in mass production if they can't yet hit their target adoption rate for the noble families.

リノキスの修行編は飛ばされた。でも、ニアが戦いを思ってクスクス笑ってるときのリノキスの顔は笑えた。もうニアの考えが読めるのかもな

We skipped Lynokis's training arc. But the face she gave when Nia was chuckling about fighting was funny. Lynokis might be able to read Nia's mind now.

ニアがついにアニメの悪役みたいな顔をしてて、あの表情は完全に予想外だった（笑）。周りが彼女のオーラを感じ取って、カップまで割っちゃったのも面白い。もう一人の侍女がニアの強さに気づいてるのもいいね。ニアが本当はどれだけ規格外か知ったら、どうなることやら。
新しい主要キャラを紹介する楽しい回だった。あの王女は、最初に目の赤さを見たときに期待してたとおりの、ちょうどいい怪しさを出してる。
来週、ニアが師範に身の程を思い知らせるところが見られるといいな。きっとすごく楽しいはず。たぶんオープニングに出てる黒帯の男だと思う。

Nia's pulling anime villain faces now, that expression came quite unexpected lol. Interesting that the others felt her aura and she even cracked her cup with it. Also interesting that the other maid notices that Nia is powerful, though if only she knew how OP Nia truly is.
Fun episode to introduce us to the new major characters, that princess is giving me just the right sus vibe, that I was hoping she would have when I first saw that red in her eyes.
I hope we get to see Nia humble the instructor next week, that ought to be a lot of fun. I assume it's the guy with the black belt in the OP.

王女があれだけ計画を広げて語れるのに、実行の仕方は分かってないのには感心した。オープニングを見るかぎり、この作品は魔法映像と戦いが中心になりそう。ニアがあらゆる武術の流派に勝ちまくって全部つぶしていく格闘番組なら、たしかにいい番組になりそう。この調子なら、いっそ軍隊と戦わせればいい。
ただ、子どもたちの大人びかたには少し引っかかる。ニアは中身が年寄りだから、大人びてるのも分かる。でも王女があんな話し方をすると、年齢よりずっと大人に聞こえる。親に言われたことをなぞってるのかな？レリアレッドも同じ回のうちに謝ってて大人っぽいけど、ちょっと浮いて見える。侍女に謝るよう言われたのかもしれない。どっちにしても、年相応のふるまいじゃない。
新しい武術の先生が気の毒だ。誰であれ、次の回でニアに流派をつぶされるんだろう。

I was impressed with how much the princess can expand on a plan and talk so much about it, only for her to not know what to do to execute said plan. And based on the OP, I guess this series will focus a lot on TV and fighting then. A fighting TV show where Nia keeps winning all kinds of martial arts schools and destroying them all does seem like some good TV. Why not just let her fight against the army at this rate.
I do think there is some issues with the maturity of the kids here. Nia is old at heart, so her maturity does make sense. But the princess speaking like that, does make her sound way more mature than her age suggests. Maybe parroting what her parents told her? Reliared also acts mature with her apologising within the same episode, which does seem out of place. Or maybe her maid asked her to apologise. Either way, they don't act their age.
I pity the new martial arts teacher. Whoever they are will be having their school destroyed next episode by Nia.

and then there's Reliared, the normie who somehow got drafted into the Powerpuff Girls

物語はそう描かないだろうし、子どもではあるけど、自分には今のところ王女がいちばんの悪役に見える。
飛行船で技術が進んで、ひどい扱いをされたら平民は逃げられるようになったせいで、王家と貴族は力を失った、と王女は語ってる。だから魔法映像を大人気にして、家が今の力を保てるようにしたいんだと。要するに、技術の進歩で自分たちにとっての封建時代が終わるのを見て、君主からIT企業のCEOに転身して力を保とうとしてるわけだ。こういう狙いの人物は応援できない。あとでニアが、みんなに魔法映像を持ってほしいと言う場面もあるけど、王女の狙いを見ると、平民の手に届くようにして暮らしを良くしたいんじゃなくて、自分の家が影響力と権力を保つためだけなんだよね。いかにも金にがめつい“Komoney”なキャラだ。
もう少し笑える話をすると、ニアがあの子の姉と戦うところを想像してたのを見て、バキみたいに想像上の相手と本当に戦えるのか気になった。あと、あの先生は次の回で死ぬな、かわいそうに。

The story won’t portray it like this and she may be a child but the princess is the biggest villain we have seen for now in my eyes.
She expresses how the advancements in technology thanks to the flying blimps has caused the monarchy aristocracy to lose power since commoners can flee in them if they are not treated properly so she wants to restore this power through magivision by having it be so popular her family maintains their current power. Aka she sees the fall of their equivalent to the feudal times due to the advancement of technology and wante to maintain her power by going from monarch to tech CEO. I’m not rooting for someone with these intentions. Like later on Nia makes a comment on how she wants everyone to have a magivision but if you look at her intentions its not to make things better for commoners by giving them access its just for her own families benifit to maintain influence and power. A very Komoney character.
For a more comical comment after seeing Nia imagine fighting the sister of the other girl I am wondering if she can fight imaginary fighters in real fights the way Baki can. Also that poor teacher is dying next episode.

魔法映像の問題点がちゃんと示されてた。庶民は貴族のものだと思って手を出さない。まずはその考え方を変えるのが先だろうな。庶民を役者に育てて主演させるのもありかも。

They introduced a problem with the magivision thing. Commoners don't get it because they think it's a thing for aristocrats. The first step should be to change that mindset. Maybe they can train commoners to be actors and star them.

それか、機械をもっと安くする必要があるんだろうな。現実のテレビの歴史も似たようなもので、最初はぜいたく品だったのが、だんだん家にあって当たり前の物になった。

or likely they need to make the devices more affordable. Our history with TV was similar, it started as a luxury item and over time it became a basic house item.

師範にとって何が一番ましな結末なんだろう。ニアに叩き潰されるか、ニアが何度も戦いたくなるくらい強いかのどっちかだ。ニアがはしゃぎすぎだけど、楽しめるといいな。

I don't know what the best case scenario is for the instructor, he'll either be crushed by Nia or be strong enough that she'll want to keep fighting him lol. She looks way too excited though, hopefully she gets a good time out of it.

The maids having beef with each other is amusing.

レリアはニアを純粋にライバルと見てるのに、ニアは戦うことしか頭にない。侍女が2人とも、自分のお嬢様のほうが上だと見せたがってるのも面白い。
王女は「目標だけ決めて、計画はやりながら考える」タイプか。昔ながらの定番だね。

Relia purely sees Nia as her rival while Nia has only fighting on the mind. It's amusing both maids want to showcase their girl is superior to the other.

毎回戦いを期待するのは無理があったか。今回は新しい顔ぶれと会う、のんびりした日常回だった。番組の中で、兄を一緒に座らせずに執事にして、お茶を注がせてたのはちょっと笑った。

I guess it was unfair to expect a fight in every episode. Got a more chill slice of life episode this time to meet the crew. I thought it was kind of funny she made her brother the butler to pour them tea in the show instead of him joining them.
