4chan でいちばん話題になったのは、原作を読んだ人たちが口をそろえた「テレビ」の比重です。どういう作品かと聞かれて「武神がひ弱な女の子に転生する話」と答えた人も、最後に「あとテレビの仕組みについても学べるから、それも楽しんでくれ」と付け加えており、「頼むから序盤のテレビ関係の話はさっさと飛ばしてくれ」と先回りして頼む人も出ました。
Reddit では、病弱な幼い子どもから始まる筋立てから『本好きの下剋上』を思い出す人が多く、「要するに、マインが本じゃなくて暴力を選んだ『本好きの下剋上』だな」という一言をきっかけに、似ているかどうかの話が続いています。もう一つの軸は、中身が入れ替わったニアに周りがほとんど気づかない点で、両方の板で家族の受け止め方が考えられていました。

第1話
神をも殺した武人が、病弱で余命わずかな4歳の貴族の令嬢ニア・リストンの体に生まれ変わります。ニアは「気」の力で病を抑え込み、車椅子の暮らしから立ち上がって、侍女のリノキスと共に新しい日々を始めます。ところが、剣の扱いを体で覚えているかのような振る舞いや、魔晶板の番組に見入る姿に、周りの人たちは少しずつ首をかしげ始めます。

物語のずーっと先で、死んだ本物のニア・リストンが遥か過去に転生して「英雄」になって、死後にまた自分の元の体を「乗っ取った」から、実は最初からずっと本人だった、みたいなどんでん返しが来ても驚かないな
I wouldn't be surprised if waaaaay down the line in the story we get some kind of twist that the original Nia Liston who died, somehow reincarnated into the far past, became the "hero" and then after death "body-jacked" her own prior body again, so therefore this was actually always herself or something like that.

She's only 4 years old, and the relatively little amount of time in which she would've exhibited a different personality as compared to present (i.e. not including infancy) was largely eclipsed by a deadly illness.
Her family and personal servant hand-waving the personality shift isn't all that unexpected, but the fact that she's physically exhibited knowledge of how to optimally use a sword probably should've earned more than a raised eyebrow.

Yes. the knowledge issue should be more questionable than the "attitude" differences. I don't know if the parents are fully aware of this aspect, however (unlike the maid). And her interaction with the swordmaster was "private" (only the maid saw).
元のニアも（本人のレベルでは）かなりの戦士だったみたいだな。たぶん家族のために、なんとか生き延びようと必死だった。で、今のニアはその体の前の持ち主の頑張りに敬意を払ってるように見える。魂が移る話として面白い仕掛けだと思う
どっちにしろ、両親からすれば、もともと心が強かったニアに健康な体が加わったからこう変わった、と思っても不思議じゃない
It does seem that OG Nia was (on the personal level) also quite a fighter -- determined to do her best to stay alive for (presumably) the sake iof her family. And OUR Nia appears to honor the efforts of her body's previous occupant. An interesting set-up for a soul transference. In any event, the parents could well believe that Nia being given physical health (to accompany her prior mental strength of mind) could explain the differences Nia shows.

reading the synopsis i was worried this would be angsty or revenge-fuled, but despite her bloodlust, it seems pretty light-hearted all things considered

I can already imagine people vilifying her family just for being rich. You know "DOWN WITH THE RICH" from the people doing poorly. Its very easy to target wealthy people regardless of background(not like i would blame them for the bias since as we know most tend to be s****y irl).

Watame singing the OP (placed at the end) was the highlight for me.
発表される前からこれを観るつもりだったから、彼女がこのアニメのOPを歌うのをすっかり忘れてた。声で気づいたときは嬉しい驚きだったよ
I had forgotten that she was singing the OP for this anime since I had already planned on watching this before I that was announced, so it was a pleasant surprise when I recognized the voice.
今年の前半に『魔術師クノンは見えている』を観た人向けに言うと、これは同じ作者の作品。個性の強い侍女と、その侍女と主人公のすごく近い関係を書くのが好きみたいだね
For people who watched Kunon the Sorcerer from earlier this year, this is by the same author. They seem to like to write maids with a lot of personality, and very close relationships to the titular leads.
原作ものなのは分かってるけど、KONAMI animationが1クール通しのアニメをやるようになったのは嬉しい

That was a fun first episode! It definitely got me interested in Nia, who looks like she was some kind of battle junkie in her previous life.
But now, aside from that, perhaps Nia is also going to become an actress in this new life? That would be interesting!
Also, there were some really hilarious expressions from Nina, especially when it came to her watching magivision and being restricted from doing so by Lynokis, lol.

Nia's health situation reminds me of Myne from Bookworm. Although character wise the new Nia and Myne are way different. Books vs. violence.
It will be interesting how much her body comes into play and how they can work around it.
うん、あの作品の序盤で主人公が前世のスキルを見せつけて、みんなが「そんなのどこで覚えたんだこのませた子は」ってなるところが好きだった
振り返ると、みんな慣れちゃって「まあ、この子はこういう子だから」ってなるのがかなり笑える
yeah, i liked the beginning part of that show where the MC was showing off her previous-life skills and everyone's like "where the heck did you learn that you sassy child"
in retrospect, it's pretty funny how everyone gets used to it and is like "that's just how she is i guess"
設定も面白いし、（ある意味）スチームパンクな世界観も面白い。ニアの考えてることはちょっと読めないけど、気になるいたずら好きのちびって感じ。家の使用人の多くが明らかにボディガードも兼ねてる（かなりの力と技を持ってる）のも気になる。この世界の暮らしにはいろいろ「ややこしい事情」がありそうだ

This strikes me as an interesting premise and interesting (sort of) steam punk setting. Nia's perspective is a bit inscrutable -- but she seems like an intriguing gremlin. One wonders abnout the fact that so much of the family's servant staff also clearly being body guards (with considerable strength and skills). Seems like life in this world might have some "complications".
Hard to see this show NOT being a keeper.
