Exactly. I hate how since the industry became fixed mostly on shounen trash, they also think CGDCT shows are the ones they can get away easiest with low budget. It's in fact the opposite. If any series needs huge production values, it's exactly cute girl shows with no real story, since what the f**k is going to engage the viewers? Mind you, it's not like there's fanservice or characterization.

I can't remember if I've ever seen anyone actually working there outside of track maintenance and emptying the bins. The station building always seems to be empty. There's one train per hour on each of the two platforms. It's alright.

なるほど、これが今期の日常系枠か。少し「子どもっぽい」デザインはそこまで好みじゃないけど、作品のコンセプトには合ってると思う
1話はかなり期待が持てた。間違いなく見続けるよ

So, this is the slice-of-life show of the season. Although I’m not a huge fan of this slightly more "childish" design, I think it fits the show's concept.
I found the first episode quite promising. I’ll definitely be sticking with it.

This was pretty cute overall. I mean who doesn’t like Cute Girls Doing Train Things? I might really like this one. Could join the likes of Encouragement of Climb, Slow Loop, and Yuru Camp.

Anime NYCの先行上映で見たよ。癒やされる作品だった！　去年の『ざつ旅』が好きだったし、今は旅と探索が中心の日常アニメが見たい気分なんだ。電車の旅がどこへ向かうのか楽しみ！　しかもこれもオリジナルなんだよね

I saw an early premiere of this at Anime NYC. This was a soothing watch! I liked Zatsu Tabi last year, and I'm in the mood for a slice of life anime centered around travel and exploration. Can't wait to see where the journey along the trains go! And this is an original too.

日本の鉄道オタクの多さを考えると、鉄道旅行同好会の日常系アニメが出るまでこんなに時間がかかったのは驚きだ。日本の鉄道網にはずっと興味があったから、これは面白くなりそう。それに、みさきのかわいさはもう大好きだし、女子大生が主役の日常系がまた一つ増えたのもうれしい

Considering the amount of railway otaku that exists in Japan, I am shocked it took this long for someone to make a CGDCT anime about a Railway Travel Club. I've always been fascinated by Japan's railway system, so this is gonna be interesting. Also, I already love how adorable Misaki is and I appreciate that we now have another CGDCT with a cast of college girls.

この回は本当に楽しかった。キャラも絵柄も大好きだし、この作品でもっと冒険するのが待ちきれない

自分は鉄道オタクってわけじゃないけど、知らない場所へ向かう電車に乗る魅力は分かる。何度かやったことがあって、窓から知らない場所の数々を眺めるのがすごく楽しかった
同好会の3人は本当に個性豊かだ。あの雰囲気も、3人のやりとりも大好き。新入りのみさきが加わって、面白い冒険が始まりそうな予感がする

I found my Slice of Life this season!
I really like the vibes of this show. The character designs are incredibly cute and remind me of "Is the Order a Rabbit?".
It's not like I'm a railway otaku myself, but I understand the fascination of riding a train to an unknown destination. I've done this a couple of times and enjoyed looking out the window viewing all these unknown places a lot.
The train club trio is really a bunch of unique personalities. I love their vibes and their interactions with each other. With Misaki as the newcomer I smell some funny adventures coming.

I'm very hyped for this. I fully enjoyed riding trains around while visiting Japan a few months ago and I love anime like Laid Back Camp and Mono. I was pretty happy when I saw this pop up for the season after researching anime that focused on train travel and mostly coming up with nothing that more slice of life and easy going.

好きになりたかったけど、恐ろしく退屈だった……『これ描いて死ね』のあとで目が肥えちゃったのかもしれないけど、趣味ものの日常系にはもう少し個性がほしい

I wanted to like this but it was frightfully boring... maybe I'm spoiled after Draw This Then Die, but I just want a little more personality in my hobby slice of life.

すごく感じのいい作品で、穏やかなユーモアが好きだった。だらだらしてたみさきが受験で苦労する回になるのかと思わせておいて、実は勉強しなくても大丈夫なくらい頭が良かったらしく、そのまま友達と同じ大学に受かったところまで時間が飛んだ。鉄道の同好会が女の子だけなのは変だと思ったけど、女子大なのかもしれない
映ってた場所が実在するのか、それとも描き手が想像した建物とかなのか気になる。みさきが行ったあの町はいい感じだった。九州の鉄道について話してた女の人の話も実際のことなのかな。あの説明会にあんなに人が集まったのも不思議だ。そこへの旅行に興味がある人なら、普通はネットで調べるだけだろうし
それに、この同好会に路線図とか鉄道関係のものがいろいろ置かれた専用の部屋があるらしいのも妙に思えた。自分が大学にいたころは、大きな部以外はみんな空き教室を使ってたし、この同好会は3人しかいないのに

Very pleasant show and I liked the gentle humor. They made it seem like the plot of the episode was going to be Misaki struggling with entrance exams from procrastinating but apparently she's smart to the point where it's not needed for her to study and just time skipped to her getting into the same college as her friend. I thought it was odd that the railway club was only women but maybe it's a womens college.
I wonder if the places they showed were real or just buildings and stuff the artist imagined. That town Misaki went to was cool looking. I wonder also if the lady talking about the rail in Kyushu was also talking about real things and it's also strange that so many people showed up to her informational meeting about it, people who would be interested in a trip there would normally just look at the internet.
It also seemed odd that this club seemed to have its own dedicated room with all kinds of train maps and train related stuff; when I was in college, any club except major ones just used unused classrooms and that club only had 3 people.

For a newcomer Kodama's performance was very adorable.
And what do you mean they got Izumi Fuuka as the protag's friend, lol.
For Umamusume fans, the pink hair girl has Dantsu Flame's VA, Usa has Win Variation's, and Yayoi has Buena Vista's VA.

『ゆるキャン△』やいろんな癒やし系を見たあとだと、もっと引き込まれるキャラ同士のやりとりか、せめて描き込まれた背景がほしい

When we were in Japan last year, my wife and I road a mostly rural rail line in Chiba that was celebrating its 100th birthday, and rode in the "party car" decorated with countless banners and balloons. We are (among other things) train fans

I do wish like a lot of other CGDCT's it could have gotten a better studio. East Fish Studio is decent enough if it has good direction like Kaya-chan had. It does seem that is more the case here.
This show is perfect to watch after Ramparts this season. Cozy vibes.
