いちばん長く続いたのは、ルーデウスの戦いぶりへの不満でした。「なんでルーデウスはこんなに弱いんだ？」という問いに、魔力量と実戦経験は別だという整理、「近距離では魔術師が剣士に勝つ方法はない」という説明、仲間を巻き込めなかったのだという擁護が集まりました。Reddit 側も「まだ優れた戦闘魔術師ではない」と手順の面から詰めています。
反対に称賛が集まったのはザノバとペルギウスでした。魔王と組み合ったザノバには「壊れすぎだろ」と呆れる声と「俺たちみんなの人生にザノバが必要だ」という感謝が並び、竜門を開いたペルギウスには、魔族を嫌いながらも弱い者は見逃すという線引きが読み取られています。そして次回予告で空気が変わります。

キシリカを城から連れ出したことで、不死身の魔王アトーフェとその親衛隊ムーアに追われる回。ザノバが力任せに魔王と組み合い、ルーデウスは石を投げ、相手を凍らせ、魔術を無効化し、雷で応戦します。収めたのは竜門を開いたペルギウスで、アトーフェは従属の契約に縛られることになりました。去り際のキシリカはクリフに魔眼を授け、次回予告はターニングポイント4。

I don't watch any trash anime this season, except Mushoku Tensei and Jaadugar. And The Ghost in the Shell. And most episodes of Youjo Senki season 2. And Nige Jouzu. But the last two are still better than Mushoku.
Any real /a/non would realize that the anime I was talking about is Yani Neko, but you wouldn't know since you're neither a real /a/non nor do you watch anything except slop (you consider all the above "bangers" and Bleach too).

More specifically it sucks up mana, which is what battle aura is. One drains the kind of mana used in spells and the other drains the kind of mana used to generate battle aura. He's using it here so that she can't protect against his incoming strike, her aura has been neutralized.

Pretty much all of the various forms magic neutralization we see work by breaking mana down into its unrefined form first, what's killing Nanahoshi is the unrefined mana in her body/bloodstream. The Wyrmgates might work differently though, I guess it's possible it would've worked? But he couldn't commit to doing it long term, as soon as Laplace shows up he'd be bound by his oath into leaving her to die.

So, why didn’t Rudeus do anything in this episode? All he did was throw a rock, freeze someone, nullify magic, and shock them. That’s it. And this was in a situation where everyone there was supposedly at risk of dying.

ルーデウスの最大の強みは、詠唱時間もクールダウンも無しで巨大な範囲魔術をばら撒けることなんだけど、仲間に当てないようにしなきゃいけない状況ではあまり役に立たない。全員を感電させるのを躊躇ってて、他に手が無かったからやっただけだと分かるだろ
Rudy's biggest strength is his ability to s**t out massive AoE spells with no cast time or cooldown but it's not of much use when he has to avoid hitting his friends, you can see he hesitated to shock everyone and only did it because they had no other options.

In close range, there is no way for a mage to win against swords. Moore is a mage and warrior at the same time too.
Also, mages can't win in mid range either once you reach king class. Mages are better at war since they have powerful AoE and they can fire powerful attacks while having full protection, but in skirmishes, mages are completely defeated by melee fighters of the same rank.

Official is decent like the first 13-14 vols are good but later on there are a quite a few inconsistencies since it had like 2 translators working on it.

まあアトーフェの巻はもっとずっと後で、彼女が正式にオルステッド陣営に加わるときだけどな。

He only killed her soldiers that entered his domain. He's not here to actually start genociding demonkind while they're just sitting on their s**t continent.
Not that he really could, since the demons can easily slaughter him in retaliation if he starts doing s**t.
There's a reason the demons won the war, and not humanity, after all.

It also is six-sided, like a cube, with the land we see being just one face of it. You can even see a model of it in the Season 1 post scene where Sylphie recommends Rudy as a special student.
It is also the reason why the journey after the mana disaster took "the long route" instead of taking a ship from Rikarisu to Arusu.

Yeah, I definitely noticed how much he sucked in that fight. Blast away some of the water with wind magic, THEN blast him with the bolt so you don't shock yourself or your friends. In order to thaw themselves, they have to chant their fire spell, but you can just insta-cast an ice spell again to perma lock them down. Or just cast disturb magic again. Really, being able to do chantless magic gives you such a massive edge, and he hardly used that advantage at all.

I like how despite being known as "The Great Demon Emperor", Kishirika Kishirisu in her current form is too pathetic to be seen as a threat. Perugius may be a demon racist, but even he has standards.
