アイフォネの町は、ファンタジー世界の町として想像してたとおりの見た目だ。
それに、この手のアニメにつきものの冒険者ギルドもある。エルミナも今回で存在感を出してきた。ローナより大人っぽく見える。今回はかなりRPGっぽい雰囲気だった。

That town Aiphone looks like how I imagined would look like in a fantasy world.

Oh yeah, there's also the adventure's guild that is relevant to these type of anime. Elimina also made her presence felt this episode. She seems more mature compared to Rona. This episode gave me heavy RPG vibes.

スカイリムの発売から15年、エルダースクロールズ6はまだあと5年待たされるっていうのにな。でも最高なのは、町の人たちの騒ぎ方が、こっちが攻撃したときのNPCのAIそっくりなところ。

A reminder that Skyrim released 15 years ago and we still have to wait 5 more years for Elder Scrolls 6. But the best part is the townspeople react to the calamity exactly like NPC AI when you attack them.

ローナは純粋なオーラだけで、エルミナを慌てさせた。スカイリムのあの呪文みたいに。

今回も笑える場面とかわいい場面がたっぷりだった 🙂
いちばん好きなのは、ローナが「イプルパイ」を買いに行く場面かな。前の回に森でうっかりやらかしたせいで、後ろでは人々が慌てて逃げまどってるのに、見事なまでに華麗にスルーしてた。
それにエルミナも、それだけで十分面白いキャラみたいだ。これからの回で、この子が何をやらかすか楽しみ。

We got quite a lot of hilarious and cute moments in this new episode 🙂

My favorite scene is probably when Rona goes to buy her 'ipple pie' while people are panicking and fleeing in the background because of what she accidentally did in the forest last episode, and she ignores it beautifully and skillfully.

Also, Elmina looks like a really amusing character in her own right, can't wait to see more of her antics in the future episodes.

ローナが攻略情報で助け方を調べて、そのまま膝を治しちゃうのも好き。たぶんあれはこのクエストの別解なんだろうな。本来の手順は、ラインハルテをイプルの森まで護衛して、膝を治せる秘密の温泉を見つけることだったみたいだし。

When Reinharte was introduced and told Wol that he could never be an adventurer again because no one could fix his knee, I thought they might be referencing Skyrim. So imagine my surprise when he literally said the entire "I used to be an adventurer like you. Then I took an arrow to the knee." quote! I almost woke up the entire house with my laugh! xD
I do love that Lorna looked up the guide to see how she can help him and just healed his knee. I'm guessing that's the alternate solution to this quest since it looked like the intended path is to escort Reinharte to the Ipple Woods and find a secret hot spring that can heal his knee.
So Lorna is from House Guugelheits, which may as well be called House Google, and the nearby town is called Aiphone! Well, now I'm looking forward to seeing the names of other towns and places! I'd love to see the City of Indivia or maybe House Mycrosoft.
Lorna, please, we already have one girl this season who's doing Forex. We don't need another anime girl swimming in debt. Also, this girl really needs to learn some sort of Adblock skill. One of these days she's gonna click those links.
I love the classic newbie-getting-harassed scene ending with Lorna not even realizing she was about to get harassed. She just bulldozed those three burly men. xD
Elmina is so goddamn hilarious! She went from being so proud about being the Guugelheist mage to immediately bending over backwards for Lorna after seeing her insane mana output. I love how every cute expression Lorna makes looks absolutely terrifying for her. xD

日本語でも、彼を「オープニングの門番」と呼んでるみたいだ（オープニングは英語をそのままカタカナで書いたもの）。ただ、文の中でどうつながってるかまでは、言い切れるほど分からない。

It looks like in the Japanese it refers to him as the opening gatekeeper (opening literally being the English word written in katakana), though I don't know enough to say exactly how it fits in the sentence.

エンディングを見る限り、エルミナはローナと一緒に冒険することになりそう（それとも、あそこに映ってる長い赤髪の女性は別人？）。抜け目ない性格だから、グーグルネス家より、ローナの方がずっと価値のある味方だと判断しても不思議じゃない。

From the ED it LOOKS like Elminia might wind up adventuring with Lorna (or is it some other long-red-haired woman we see there)? It sure seems to me that, opportunistic as she is, Elminia could decide that Lorna is a far more valuable ally than House Google-ness.

ローナがネットのスキルでダンジョンからありえない物を見つけて、エルミナが金目当てか恐怖からすぐ仲間になる、に賭けてもいいくらいだ。

I would almost bet money that Lorna manages to find something impossible in the dungeon due to her internet skill and Elmina immediately joins her out of a desire to get rich or fear.

むしろダンジョンのおかげでレベルが上がって、新しい装備も手に入って、ローナがさらに強くなるだけだと思う。

If anything the dungeon will probably just make Lorna more powerful by helping her gain some levels and new gear.

門番が膝が悪いと言った時点で、スカイリムのミームが頭に浮かんで笑い出した。まさか本当にそのまま台詞を出してくるとは。魔法使いが決めポーズから、くつろいで座り直すところも最高のギャグだった。ほかの作品でもそういう場面をよく想像して楽しんでるから、ここで実際に見られてうれしい。

When the guard mentioned having a bad knee, it immediately brought to mind the Skyrim meme, and I started laughing. I was not expecting them to go on to directly reference it.
Showing the mage go from dramatic pose back to sitting comfortably was a really great gag. I often have fun imagining such things in other series, so I loved seeing it play out here.

冒険者が「膝に矢を受けてしまってな」と言う所と、そのあとサブクエストを見る所は大笑いした。全体的にめちゃくちゃ笑える回で、特にエルミナの心の声と、ありとあらゆる展開を想像する所が良かった。

I laughed so hard at the part of the adventurer taking "an arrow to the knee" and then later when she looked at the side quest.
Hilariously funny episode all around even more so the part of Elmina inner dialogue and imagining all the possible scenarios.

いや、もっとひどくなるだけだよ。このダンジョンは攻略不可能って設定なんだろうけど、ローナは中にいるものを何でも一撃で片付けるに決まってる。エルミナは魂の底から怯えることになる。

Oh its only going to get worse. You can just tell this dungeon is supposed to be impossible and you know Lorna is going to 1-shot whatever is inside. Elmina is going to fear her from the bottom of her soul

The pixel art cutaways for Lorna are very charming. It gives the anime that RPG game feel.
I laughed when Lorna only cared about a pie despite the entire town panicking. Our cute small adventurer is so overpowered now.

1話よりずっと楽しめた。特にエルミナのところ。エルミナが取り乱しすぎで笑う。グーゲルハイトの名前をためらいなくけなすし。ローナがパイを買ってる間に、みんなが悲鳴を上げて逃げていくのも好きだ。それに、ギルドの冒険者たちが、とんでもない新人が入ってきたと気づくところも。泉には実際に行ってないけど、クエストは達成したから、ローナはラインハルテから槍をもらえるのかな。どうなるか見たい。

I enjoyed this a lot more than I did the first episode, particularly with Elmina's section. Elmina is freaking out so much lol, no hesitation in disrespecting Guugelheit's name.

I do like how people were screaming, running away while Lorna was buying her pie. Also the adventurers at the guild realizing they have a crazy one joining them.

いつも見るタイプのアニメじゃないから見送るつもりだったけど、Anime News Networkの好評を見て見てみたら、おバカっぷりを楽しんでる。

Was going to skip this as this is not my usual kind of anime, but positive reviews on Anime News Network has me checking it out and I am enjoying myself with how silly the anime is.

どうやらこれが、今期の純粋なおバカアニメみたいだ（チート付与魔術師の作品には真面目な場面もあるけど、こっちは……無い）。毎週お腹を抱えて笑える作品があるのはいつでもうれしいし、今のところこれはぴったりだ。先週はマルウェアの話が出て、今週は暗号資産。今期が終わるまでに、ネットの恐ろしいものがあと何個ネタにされるんだろう。

So this seems to be the purely silly anime of the season (Cheat Granting Mage has moments of seriousness where as this... does not). Always happy to have a show that makes me belly laugh every week and so far this one fits the bill.
Last week there was talk of malware, this week brought up crypto. I wonder how many more horrors of the internet will get brought up as jokes before this season is over.

So, the town is ""IPhone"", located near ""Apple"" forest. Must took the author years to came out with name lol

全くの当てずっぽうだけど、鍵はギルドマスターがローナを魔王だと誤解してることだと思う。選んだ試験には「魔王」の大きな弱点になる聖なる仕掛けや罠があるけど、ローナは魔王じゃないから全然効かなくて、面白いことになるんじゃないかな。

very random prediction but i think the key here is guildmaster's misconception of her being a demon lord. I think whatever challenge she chose has some kind of requirements/traps that are basically holy and big vulnerabilities to the "demon lord" but it's just not gonna work because she isn't one, which will lead to something funny

This show is officially peak. I can't believe it seems to have so few views.

I love how all Lorna's spells are small even now when she's overpowered. Small flame! Small heal!
