いちばん驚かれたのは、ヤニ子のアパートにもう一人いた人間、漫画家のサオリでした。Reddit で「ヤニ子にはかなりの信者がいるみたいで、しかも人間の男だけじゃない。」と書いた人には、「まあ、これまで出てきた猫娘たちと違って、あの人は仕事ではそこそこ成功してるっぽいけど。」と、住人の中で唯一まともに稼いでいるらしいという返信が付きました。
もう一つ伸びたのは作画の話です。「自分だけかな、作画の質が落ちた気がする？」という問いが繰り返し立ち、返信には「3話ルールを通過したからな。」という皮肉や、『グレンラガン』『エヴァ』を引いて「4話症候群」と呼ぶものがありました。
4chan は短い反応が中心で、ヤニ子が巣を食べる場面には「蜂を食べるあれを誰か説明してくれ」に「ここでは蜂を愛している」と続いています。

この作品は最初から頭がおかしかったけど、今回はいつものイタいコメディを越えて、漫画家とヤクザのくだりで完全に正気じゃない領域まで行ったな。
しかも今日だけで警察が二回も出てくる始末。
あと、Netflix は相変わらず画面内テキストの字幕組版と、複数人が同時にしゃべる場面の処理がひどい。チャット欄の文字や吹き出しが訳されていないのは置いておくとしても、チャットの読み上げ音声すら訳が出たり出なかったりする（笑えるのは、ハメ子がしゃべってる場面では何度かちゃんとチャット音声の行を足してたこと。つまりやろうと思えばできるのに、一貫してないんだ）
This show's been crazy from the start but this episode kind of went beyond its usual cringe comedy and straight up into actually insane material with the mangaka and yakuza guys.
The police getting involved on two separate occasions today lmao.
Additionally, holy s**t, Netflix continues to be awful with on-screen text typesetting and when there is more than one person talking on screen. Like even putting the chat text and bubbles not being translated aside, even the chat 'voice' was not being translated all the time (funny thing is they are clearly capable of it as there were a few times where Hame was talking and it did add a line for the chat voice but it was not consistent)

今回も相変わらず、掘り下げがいのある話題が詰まってた。
「ニャンマガ」は「ヤンマガ（週刊ヤングマガジン）」のパロディ。ヤニねこはヤングマガジン連載の漫画だから、自分の掲載誌をネタにしたんだろう。
冒頭でヤニ子がフライヤーを使いながらタバコを吸って、吸い殻がポテトに落ちる場面では、思わず身震いした。日本は食品への異物混入に対する規制がとても厳しいし、自分もフライヤーを扱う仕事をしていたことがあるので、正直ぞっとした。
自家喫ねことヤニ子が、カクヨム（実在の小説投稿サイト）のパロディらしきサイトについて話す場面は笑わずにいられなかった。
今期はヤングマガジン発のアニメが他にもあるけど（追放された重騎士）、あの漫画はカクヨムみたいな小説投稿サイト出身だから、この作品は身内を後ろから撃ってるようなものだ。かなり面白い。
麻雀をしていた老人が拳銃を持ったチンピラに襲われる場面で「フライデー」と言うのは、たぶん1980年代に実際にあった事件が元ネタ。
『フライデー』というゴシップ寄りの写真週刊誌の記者が、ビートたけし（本業はお笑い芸人だけど、日本では有名な映画監督でもある）の交際相手に取材しようとしてもみ合いになり、ケガをさせた事件があった。その後、たけしが弟子の芸人十人ほどを連れてフライデー編集部に殴り込み、大騒動になって最終的に逮捕された。
This episode was full of in-depth topics once again, as usual.
“nyanmaga” is a parody of "yanmaga (Weekly Young Magazine)". Since “yanineko” is a manga serialized in Weekly Young Magazine, they probably used their own publication as the subject of the joke.
In the opening scene where Yanineko smoked while using a French fry fryer, causing a cigarette butt to end up in the fries, I couldn’t help but shudder. Since Japan has very strict regulations regarding foreign objects in food, as someone who has worked with fryers before, I honestly felt a chill run down my spine.
I couldn’t help but laugh at the scene where Jikaki Neko and Yanineko were talking about a web novel site that seemed to be a parody of Kakuyomu (a real web novel site).
There are other work adapted into anime from Weekly Young Magazine this season(The Exiled Heavy Knight), but since that manga originated from web novel sites like Kakuyomu, this series is essentially shooting its peers in the back. It’s pretty funny.
In the scene where an elderly man playing mahjong is attacked by a thug with a gun, the fact that he says “Friday” is probably a reference of a real incident that happened in the 1980s.
There was an incident involving a reporter from a weekly magazine called *Friday* (a tabloid-style, sensationalist gossip magazine) who got into an altercation while trying to interview Takeshi Kitano’s girlfriend (Kitano is the famous Japanese film director whose main profession is actually a comedian) and ended up injuring her. After this, Kitano stormed into the *Friday* editorial office with about ten of his comedy apprentices, causing a huge commotion, and was ultimately arrested.

ヤニ子の依存っぷりは筋金入りで、溺れてる子どもを助けに飛び込む前に、まずタバコを吸い終えるのを優先する始末（笑）
この作品はこれまでも気持ち悪い場面だらけだったけど、なぜかイモコがハンバーガーから吸い殻を見つける場面が、初めて本気で「うっ」と来た。実際にこういう事故が起きてるのを知ってるからだと思う。イモコの慰めになるかは知らないけど、せめてそれが実の姉の吸い殻ではあった。
ヤニ子のアパートに住むもう一人の人間にようやく会えた！ ただの漫画家かと思ったら、実はヤニ子をモデルに使ってるエロ漫画家で、そのせいで原稿を台無しにされてた。
この人、カンサイをモデルに選ぶあたり趣味がいい。ゆっくり横に流すカットが無かったのが惜しい。あの衣装のカンサイを繋ぎたかった。途中で動き出したから、胴体までしか作れなかった。
ヤニ子がヤクザの親分と親しいというのは、この作品で見た中でいちばん予想外だった。どうやってあの人たちと友達になったんだ？ しかも小さい頃から知られてるって？ 過去編を見たい気持ちと、謎のままでいてほしい気持ちが半々（笑）
親分と子分たちがヤニ子とハメ子の胸を見て反応してしまうところ、めちゃくちゃ笑った！
あれだけダメ人間なのに、世の中にまだヤニ子の意見を尊敬してる人がいるのは本気で驚いた。あの子は高校時代の知り合いか何かかな？ 紹介も何も無いのに、ヤニ子とあの子の関係がなんとなく伝わってくるのは好き。
いや待て、あのじいさんヤクザの親分じゃなかった！ ニャンマガジンの編集長だ！ ヤニねこが毎週載ってるヤングマガジンのパロディなのは丸わかり（笑）
和志編集長が『アフタニャン』（アフタヌーン）で身を守ってたのは最高だった！ 宝石の国とスキップとローファーのネタまで入ってる！ あれには本当に驚いた。宝石の国2期の話、ぜひ聞かせてほしい！
そしてもちろん、ヤニ子が胸を触らせて和志を蘇生させる。まあ、そりゃそうなるよな。
ハメ子がご近所を生配信するのは最悪の思いつきだったけど、終わり方がまったくの予想外だった。BANさせるのはヤニ子だと思ってたのに、当のヤニ子はクマみたいに蜂の巣を食ってただけ。最終的にBANの引き金を引いたのは大家さんだった（笑）

Yani seems to have a huge fanclub, and not only human males. We already had Yaku being a big admirer of her senpai, but we have also this unknown high school girl who tries to get Yani's attention and thinks she is the coolest despite being a total loser.
Also can we talk about "Land of the Lustrous 2"? I would like to know more about that!

あと小説家志望のヨム子もいる。どうしてヤニ子を文章の権威みたいに思うようになったんだろう。悪いキャラじゃないけど、この作品にはちょっと普通すぎるかも？

The addition of the yakuza boss... I mean editor-in-chief Kazushi was great too. Yaniko saving his life (plus making another thing rise as well) by letting his hand touch her chest was hilarious.
Also, there is Yomuko, who is an aspiring novelist. I wonder how she ended up thinking of Yaniko as some kind of authority figure in writing. She is not a bad character, but maybe a little too normal for this show?

i'm so glad Yani resuerrected the oyabun. and the late mosaic on Drug Neko during Hame-chan's stream was pure gold. she's my top conteder for the biggest idiot of this series, closely followed by Kansai.
この回は本気でトラウマを呼び起こされた。40年くらい前、十代のころに地元の店でハンバーガーを頼んで、かじったら何か硬いものを噛んで、見てみたらタバコが半分入ってたことがあるんだ。
This episode provoked some serious PTSD in me, because when I was a teenager about 40 years ago, I distinctly remember an incident where I ordered a hamburger from a local restaurant, bit into it, and chomped on what upon inspection turned out to be a half a cigarette.

なんで画面内の文字や看板が一つも訳されてないんだ。Netflix がアニメの配信権を取るのが嫌なのはこれが理由で、あそこは手をかける気が無いから本当に腹が立つ。Crunchyroll にも言いたいことはあるだろうけど、少なくともあっちは画面内の文字も訳してくれてた。それに訳全体の質もあまり良くない気がする。キャラがしゃべってる内容と字幕の中身が違うのが時々分かるんだ。
Why is none of the on-screen text and signs translated? This is why I hate it when Ne*tflix gets anime licenses; they just don't care enough, and it's annoying. Say what you want about Crun*chyroll, but at least the on-screen text would have been translated. Also the translations in general don't seem that good, like I can sometimes tell that what the characters are saying is not what's being displayed in the subs.

引いて切る人の気持ちもよく分かるけど、自分はこのアニメを心底楽しんでる。灰色のキャラたちが出てくる、正真正銘のイカれたコメディだ。
I completely get it why some people are being put off and dropping it, but I'm having a blast with this anime. This is a legit effed up comedy with grey characters.

これとこのすばとぐらんぶるは、『イッツ・オールウェイズ・サニー』を見てるときと同じ感覚になる完璧な三本柱だと思う。
I think this, Konosuba, and Grand Blue Dreaming are the perfect trio of anime that give me the same feeling as watching an episode of It's Always Sunny.
今週も最高の回。ハメちゃんの配信が、このひどいアパートの住人全員を一本につないでくれた。ケチなヤニ子は口直しに蜂まで食うし、カンサイは面白くないし、「キャサリン」がフル稼働するところまで見られた。
漫画の編集長を生き返らせる場面は良かったし、悲しいことに自分たちの多くにとって他人事じゃない。「娘みたいに思ってる」と「うおおっ」の同居だ。
Yet another episode of peak. Hamechan's stream ties together all of the residents of this awful apartment complex. Cheap ass Yani is willing to eat bees as a pallet cleanser, Kansai isn't funny, and we got to see "Cahterine" in full use.
The scene of her bringing the manga publisher back to life was great, and it's sadly more than a little relatable to a lot of us. "I see her as a child" meets "Schwing".

Out of an apartment complex full of alcoholics, junkies and addicts in general, the most scared the streamer got was when she was talking to a hentai artist.
1話の中に妙な幕間が多すぎる。ある意味これが第1話でもよかったんじゃないか。ハメ子が建物を回って住人を紹介していく形になってるし。ヘロイン中毒がどの人で、昼から酒を飲んでるのが誰で、シーシャを吸ってるのが誰なのか覚えられない。あと大家さん以外が全員独身女性っていうのも妙な話だ。
あの人間の女はガチで気持ち悪い。人を食い物にするいやらしい女のポルノ業者ってキャラ、映画でもドラマでも見た覚えがない。あれ絶対、絵の資料ってだけじゃなくてネットで写真を売ってるだろ。あれだけ搾取してるならもっと稼いでもっといい建物に住んでそうなものだけど、搾取する相手の近くに住むのが楽しいだけなのかもな。
元ヤクザの雑誌の発行人も相当不気味だった。ヤニ子を子どものころから知ってるのに、胸をじろじろ見て、いやらしい目を向けてる。この先掘り下げられるのかもしれないけど、かなり変な関係だし、ヤニ子の姉もそこに絡んでるんじゃないかと思う
So many odd interludes in one episode. In a way, this would have made a good first episode since it has Hame go throughout the building and sort of give an intro to all its tenants. I don't remember which lady was the heroin addict, the woman drinking booze or the one smoking the hookah. It's also kind of odd that everyone in that building is a single woman other than the landlord.
That human lady is a real creep; I don't think I've seen a movie or a TV show with a sleazy exploitative female pornographer character. I'd be certain she's selling the pictures online rather than it just being visual source material to draw. You'd think with all that exploitation she's doing, she'd have more money and live in a nicer building although maybe she just enjoys living near the women she exploits.
The old yakuza/magazine publisher also had a really creepy undertone since he knew Yani as a kid, yet ogled her breasts and stared at her sexually. Maybe they'll elaborate on it further but that seems a very odd relationship and I wonder if Yani's sister is also involved there.

ヤニ子の姉は、今まで出てきた獣人の中でいちばん普通というか「人間らしい」けど、あれは何でなんだろう。ヤニ子が飲んでる発情抑制剤みたいな薬で、悪癖につながる獣の衝動を抑えてるのかな

Yeah...I definitely get the vibe beastfolk are second-class citizens here, only doing part-time jobs and often living in squalor, being refered to as "one and their owner" in this ep, etc...gives me the vibe that humans also see them as possibly lower class and therefore okay to ogle as objects.
