ルファスが、あの金色の経験値リンゴで人類のレベルを引き上げた張本人だったというのは、間違いなく話を大きく変える。かつての仲間たちが妬んだのも分かるし、それが原因であんなに操られやすくなってしまったのは不幸なことだ。
スコルピウスがルファスを見るなりヤンデレ独白を始めたのは最高だった。幸いでないのは、かつての七英雄と同じように女神に操られているところ。
同じ手口が二度使われたわけだが、カルキノスがそれに気づいたのは嬉しい。

Lufas being the one to raise humanity's level with those golden EXP apples of hers is definitely a gamechanger. I can see why her former comrades were envious, and how unfortunate it is that made them so manipulatable.
Scorpius going on that Yandere monologue upon seeing Lufas was great. What's not so fortuitous is that she's getting manipulated by the Goddess like the Seven Heroes were back then.
With this same trick being used twice, I'm happy that Karkinos recognized it.

It was so catchy and the hidden meaning behind it made the series extra interesting.

この作品はポケモンへのオマージュだから（タイトルがそのまんま「野生のポケモンが現れた！」だし笑）、ウィルゴがその場にいるだけで経験値がもらえると思うのも無理はない（ポケモンではそうだから）。

Since the series is a hommage to Pokémon (the title is litterally A wild Pokémon appeared xD ), it's no wonder she thinks Virgo only needs to be present to get exp (that's the case in Pokémon).

ランダムエンカウントを最初に入れたゲームはポケモンじゃない。初期のD&Dからある仕組みだし、ドラクエにも「野生の〇〇が現れた」はあった。

pokemon isn't the first game that had random encounters, it's been a thing since early dnd and dragonquest also had "a wild blank appeared."

前期で、ルファスや他の上位プレイヤーたちの冒険が小説になっていたという話があった。若い頃のルファスの回想とも噛み合う。ゲームそのものは、大きな出来事以外はまったく関係ないんだと思う。

Last season they were talking about the Lufas and the other top players getting a novelized version of their adventures which fits with all the flashbacks of young Lufas, I don't think the game matters at all except for major points.

うん、オープニングでバラされてなければ「ない」と言ってたところだけど、残念ながらそうなるしかないんだろう。正直、登場以来ずっと傍観者にされていて、ルファス側に立てることをまだ何ひとつ証明していない。
女神と戦うことになったとき、勇者側がルファスを支えられるくらい強くなっていてほしい。

Yeah, if the Opening didn't spoil it I would have said no but unfortunately that's just going to have to happen. To be honest, she hasn't even done anything yet to prove she can be on Team Lufus and was basically turned into an onlooker since her introduction.
Hopefully Team Hero can grow in power to support Lufus when they inevitably face of the Goddess.

この作品の本当に厄介なところは、設定説明のほとんどをディーナがやってることだ。シリーズで一番信用できない人物なのに。いくらでも嘘をつける立場なのは分かってる。どうやら三重スパイ（魔神族、天使、女神）で、女神の化身みたいな存在で、見る限り主人公の記憶をどうにかして操ってる

It's really problematic for this show that the main source of exposition dumps is Dina, Dina who is the least reliable character in the entire series We know that she could easily be lying in so many ways, as she is seemingly a triple agent (Devil, Angel Goddess) and is like the goddess's avatar (and near as we can tell is somehow manipulating MC's memory

それに魔神王が「女神のシナリオ」を乗り越える話をルファスに始めた直後に、ディーナが割り込んできた。本当に信頼できる語り手との会話を妨げたわけだ。
ディーナがベータテスターだったというのが嘘かどうかも、ルファスが塔に現れることをどう知ったのかも、なぜあんなに長く魔神王軍の一員でいたのかも、何ひとつ分からない。

Similarly we know Dina manipulates Lufras's memory, so how do we know that when lufras gets "memorys from the novel Lufras" that it's actually novel lufras's memory and not just Dina manipulation.
Lufras consistently gets headaches around Dina and often comes with OG lufras memory's "returning"
Dina also jumps in soon after the devil king starts talking to Lufras about overcoming the "goddess's scenario" preventing her from talking to the actual reliable narrator.
We have no idea if dina lied about being a beta tester, how dina knew that Lufras was showing up to the tower, and why dina has been a member of the devil kings forces for so long.

カルキノスが不利な状況でも何ができるのかが分かったのは良かった。ただ、ルファスのせいでスコルピウスのヤンデレがもう一段加速したのは残念笑

I don't remember if they've already given this explanation about the amplified emotions in the first season, but it would make sense if the human hero realized this and that's why he was shedding tears of blood.

It was nice to learn what Karkinos could do even if he's at a disadvantage, too bad the yandere in Scorpius kicked up another gear because of Lufas lol.

楽しい回だった。2期連続で、ファンタジー世界の仕組みそのものに踏み込む筋立てのファンタジーアニメがあるのが面白い。「村人999」も似た発想だったけど、あちらは視聴者が知る限り、ここの女神みたいに意思を持った何かが仕切っているわけではなかった。

Fun episode, interesting that back to back seasons have a fantasy anime with plot lines around the underpinnings of the fantasy world [spoiler for name of last season's anime for those that do not know but also some details] Villager 999 had a similar concept though to viewer knowledge there's no specific sentient force in charge unlike the goddess here.

There is no let up in quality in s2 so far. This continues to be an unexpected delight! Lufas and Makoto from Tsukimichi can exchange notes 🤣. Also... Shaula!? Is that you?

スコルピウスはヤンデレだった笑。でも参ったな、ルファスとの戦いを見るのに7日も待たなきゃいけない。
あと、ルファスと魔神王の戦いを見ても絶望しなかった時点から、瀬衣のことはずっと気に入ってる。レベルの低い勇者としてはそういうところが好きだ。頭も良くて、ルファスが悪者じゃないとちゃんと分かってる。

Scorpius is a Yandere lmao. But damn it now I have to wait 7 days to watch Lufas and her go into a fight.
Also, I have always liked Sei ever since he actually doesn't go into despair watching Lufas and Demon Lors fight, I like that in a hero who is low level. He is also smart too, he knows and aware Lufas is not the bad guy.

Come on, I wanted the fight to end this episode... I already waited a week for a big fight, and only got exposure.
Don't get me wrong, it was good info dump and was interesting to know more about the world, but I wanted a big fight.
Anyways, looks like the fight has been pushed to episode 3.
Seems like our goddess is still trying to remove Lufas and keep both humans and devils fighting forever.

この作品を見る時間ができたとき、SAOみたいな、吐き気がするほどありきたりなゲーム系異世界モノを覚悟してた…。それが今では、あの性悪な女神（やあ、月が導く異世界道中）が、なぜ地球のゲーマーの魂を、近年見た中で一番かっこよくて興味深い女性の体に入れたのかが知りたくてたまらない。（やあ、ホロ！）
それに、たとえば十代の勇者が最強でもなければ、どうしようもない間抜けでもないのがいい。

When I got the time to watch this series, I expected an utterly vomiting slop game-related isekai like SOA... now I want to know why the f*****g s****y goddess (hello Tsukimichi) has put the soul of an Earth gamer in the body of the most awesome and interesting woman I have seen in ages. (Hello holo!!)
Also, for instance, the teenage hero is not an asbolute op nor an absolute moron.

冒頭のエクスゲートの使い方について大事なおさらい。エクスゲートは生き物を無理やり転移させることはできない。つまりゴーレムなら強制的に転移させられるから、ああやって地面に巨大な門を開くだけで両軍を引き離せたわけだ。

A relevant reminder about the Exgate use at the start: Exgate cannot forcibly teleport living creatures. Meaning, golems can be forcibly teleported, hence why just creating a huge portal on the ground like that was effective for separating the two forces.

今期はこれを追いかけることにする。

十二星の技は相変わらず、それぞれの星座にある星の名前から取られている。
さそり座がかに座に対して優位というのは、占星術的には少し逆だ。もっともこの作品の相性の関係は、全般的に文化をまたいだ入り組んだ論理になっている。十二宮には、どの星座がどの星座に対して優位な位置にあるかという伝統的な論理が実際にある。具体的には、黄道の順で先に来る星座が後の星座より「上」になる。同じ元素の星座（かに座とさそり座はどちらも水）はトライン（120度）の関係で、その関係は争いというよりお互いに利のあるものだ（争いはスクエア、つまり3つ離れた星座同士で、トラインは4つ離れている）。それでも先に来るほうが有利なので、理屈の上ではかに座がさそり座に対して優位ということになる。ここでもやはり守護星と元素の論理が働いているのかもしれない。かに座は月か、水か、地だろう（かに座は月に支配されているから月の元素はいかにもありそうだし、月は元素的には水とも地とも結びつく）。元素の関係には触れられなかったけど、考えてみると面白い。

The Zodiac abilities continue to be named after stars in their namesake constellations.
Scorpio having the advantage over Cancer is astrologically a little backwards, although the orthogonal advantages in this series tend to have a convoluted cross-cultural logic in general. Per the twelve signs, there actually is a traditional logic of which sign is in the advantageous position in relation to another. Namely, the sign earlier in Zodiacal order is 'superior' to it. Signs of the same element (Cancer and Scorpio both being water) are trine, so while their relationship is one of mutual benefit rather than a fight (that being a square, or three signs from each other, to the four signs apart for a trine), the one preceding the other is advantageous-here meaning that Cancer is hypothetically superior in relation to Scorpio. It might be a ruler-element logic here again, with Cancer probably being either Moon, Water, or Earth (Cancer being ruled by the moon, so the Moon element is an obvious possibility, or the moon being associated with both water and earth on an elemental basis). While no elemental relationship was mentioned, it is interesting to think about.

どうだか知らないけど、今期は作画がかなり物足りない。1期でもたまにあったけど、止め絵とアップを多用していて、何が起きてるのか追いづらいときがある。
誰かが喋ってるとき、周りを描かなくて済むように顔の一部だけをぐっと寄せて映して、口が動くところすら見せないこともある。低予算スタジオがよく使う手だよ。
第1話からもうこうなんだから、こういうものだと受け入れるしかないんだろうな

I don’t know about you, but animation is really lacking this season. It happened sometimes in S1 already, but they use a lot of stills and close ups, making it difficult to follow what’s going on sometimes.
When someone’s talking, you only see a part of the face with a big zoom to make sure not to draw the decorum around, sometimes not even showing the mouth moving. The kind of tricks a low budget studio uses.
Since it happened from episode 1 already, I guess we’ll just have to accept the way it is.

リソース配分の問題だよ。大きな場面のために金と人手を温存してるのは間違いない（今回のアークは前期より中身が詰まってる）。2期はスタッフが増員されたのが分かってるから、後半の話数では作画が良くなると思っていい（予告のルファス対スコルピウスのぬるぬる作画は、明日間違いなく見られる）

It's the resource allocation. They are definitely saving money and manpower for the bigger scenes (this arc is denser than the previous season). We know the staff is expanded for season 2, so expect better animation for the later episodes (the smooth animation of Lufas vs. Scorpius in the trailer will definitely happen tomorrow).

予算がダイエット中みたいだから、いちばん食う話数にほとんど回すんだろうね

Looks like the budget’s on a diet, so they’ll likely feed most of it to the episode with the biggest appetite for resources.

うん、特に今期のある戦闘は絶対にしくじれないって分かってるはずだし（監督がこのシリーズのファンってのもある）、ファンの間ではシリーズで一番待たれてる戦いだからね

Yeah especially with one of the fights in the season they know they're not really allowed to screw up (especially with the director being a fan of the series), since in the fandom it's the most awaited fight in the series.
