Yeah, there were people like me who clocked this in season 1 in really early episodes thanks to just how sus that ED is. It's less that they dropped a hint and more that they put a post it note on her forehead telling you not to trust her and suggesting she was a deceitful puppet master.
As much as I'd love to just claim I'm observant, they really made this one obvious eh lol?

the problem with mind manipulation is that they don't remember if they doubted her before and she erased that :D, or if they will remember the doubt tomorrow
the golem-maid has memory corruption last season/start of this season, so even her memories are not reliable

リーブラは記憶が壊れてたのに、それでもディーナは信用すべきじゃないと見抜けた。しかもその疑いはもう消せそうにない。これからリーブラの振る舞いが少し変わるのか気になる。

Even though Libra had some memory corruption, she was still able tofigure out that Dina should not be trusted and it's not like that doubt can be erased anymore. I wonder if Libra will act a bit different going forward.

よかった。この作品のキャラはみんな、周りの言葉や真実をちゃんと疑えるくらい頭がいい。
こういうのに妙に慣れてない自分がいる。長年アニメを見てきたせいで、有能なキャラがずらっと揃うと完全に無防備になってしまう。

Oh Thank GOD. All the characters in the show are smart enough to doubt the words and truths around them,
I feel strangely un-used to this happening. All my years of anime watching has left me totally defenceless against a wide cast of competent characters.

前回も勇者が周りの世界を疑ってたしね。視聴者から見て明らかに怪しいことに、こんなに大勢のキャラが気づくのは本当に新鮮だ。

We had the hero doubting the world around him last episode too. It's really refreshing to see so many characters notice the things that are obviously suspicious to the viewer.

登場人物たちが少しずつ「ディーナって何かおかしくない？」って言い出すのを見ると、笑いそうになる。ディーナが怪しすぎて、自分の疑いすら信用できないくらいなのに笑

追記：ディーナ自身も、操られていることに気づいていないなら話は別だけど。

I’m starting to think that all this suspicion about Dina being an avatar of the Goddess might actually be a red herring. It’s too obvious, right?
It’s only a minor detail in the grand scheme things, but Dina should have known about Lufas being a man on the inside if she shared the Goddess’ knowledge. She wouldn’t have gotten so flustered. Nor did it look like an act to me.
EDIT: Unless Dina isn’t aware that she’s being manipulated herself either.

That has been my (tentative) theory -- an avatar that has bcome partially/mostly/entirely detached from the goddess. Maybe there is some booby-trapping by the goddess -- letting Dina think she is independent, but letting the goddess reclaim total control?

ディーナが自分自身に能力を使ってるってこともありうるのかな。そうすれば、何をやっても厳密には嘘にならない

自分自身を「月島しちゃう」説はいいね。めちゃくちゃ怪しいけど、女神本人でも化身でもなくて、もしかしたら別の女神なんじゃないかと思う

ミスリードだとは思わないけど、ディーナには女神とは別に、自分の意思や主体性があると思う。
そのほうがキャラとしてずっと面白くて謎めいたものになる。

I doubt it's a red herring, but I do think Dina possesses her own agency/autonomy, separate from the goddess.
It would make her character a lot more interesting and mysterious if that were the case.

ディーナは演技してるんだと強く確信してる。1期でも似たような場面があって、彼女は変装に一つの穴も無い見事な演技をしてたし、視聴者の僕らは、彼女が役に合わせてわざとそう振る舞ってると分かってた（本当なら違う自然な反応が出るはずのことを知っていながら）。

Im very confident that Dina is pretending as we saw in season 1 with similar scenarios where she did excellent acting with no whole in the disguise and we as the viewer knew she was purposefully behaving a certain way to fit her role (while she knew things that would otherwise show a different natural behaviour).

あるいは、理解が不完全なだけかもしれない。たとえばディーナは本当に化身だけど自分の意識も持ってるとか、本当にβテスターで、化身として操られてるとか。

That or that it is an incomplete understanding. Eg, such as maybe Dina really is an avatar, but also has her own consciousness or really is the beta tester who is being manipulated as her avatar.

Dina seems to be more pissed with how Lufas has no (sexual) interest in her whatsoever than the fact that she just learned on a whim tha Lufas is mentally a man who SHOULD lust for her in some way ... xD

ディーナはかわいすぎるんだから、まったく興味を持たないなんて礼儀に反する。

Dina is too cute, having no interest in her at all is an affront to decency.

この作品なら、女神がルファスの中に男の魂を入れたのは、欲望を通して操る手段にするためだったとしても驚かない。

With this show, I wouldn't be surprised that the reason the goddess put a male soul inside of Lufas as a potential avenue to manipulate them via lust.

ゲーマーの男が入れられたのは、波風を立てず、いずれオルムか世界の竜のどれかに殺されるだろうと見込まれたからだと思う。元のルファスは世界を征服して回りながら、「女神のシナリオ」を壊すために色々と仕掛けていた。今のルファスも強いけど、レベル1000でも本来の半分以下の力だと魔神王の息子に指摘されてる。
女神が見込んでいなかったのは、前期でオルムまで勝手に動き出して、彼女を殺さずに「なぜ急にこんなに弱くなったのか」と問いただしたことだろう。

I think gamer dude was put in because he wouldn't shake the boat and would eventually get killed by Orm or one of the World Dragons. Original Lufas was going around conquering the world and setting events in motion to destroy the "goddess scenario" and now Lufas is strong but even at level 1000 the Demon Prince pointed out that this was under half power of the Original.
What the Goddess probably didn't count on was Orm also going rogue last season and questioning why she's suddenly so weak instead of just killing her.

I'm wondering if that's true, or if he's assuming she's had her level halved like the Heros have.

元のルファスは竜を封印したほどの強さで、オルムも彼女を恐れてた。経験値リンゴが伝説の秘宝扱いされてるのと同じで、ここはゲームそのものじゃなくて、ゲームを小説にした版の世界っぽいことを考えると、ルファスはレイドボス級だったんだと思う。

OG Lufas was powerful enough that she sealed the dragons and Orm was scared of her. Considering this seems to be the Novelization of the game rather than the original just like how the exp apples are legendary treasures I think Lufas was raid boss tier.

前期で、魔神王は実は魔神族と同じ種族じゃないって言ってたし、もしかしたら本物か、何か別の存在なのかもしれない。

Last season already state that demon king isn't actually the same race as demon, maybe he's also a real one or something else.

それと、あいつは本当に欲を全部失ったのか？ それともルファスの好みに影響されてるだけで、彼女の高い（というか特殊な）基準を満たす相手に出会ったら、とんでもない目に遭うんじゃないか？
まあ公平に言えば、「自分はアセクシャルなのか、それともまだ運命の相手に出会ってないだけなのか」っていうのは、アセクシャルの人たちの間ではそれほど珍しくない経験なんだろうけど。

Well, to be fair, "am I asexual or have I not found the right person yet" is probably not that uncommon of experience among asexual folks.

テラとルーナは、いずれ仲間になるのが確実っぽいし、たぶん脇のカップルにもなりそう。うまくいくといいね、今回はお姫様抱っこまでしてもらってたし。
駄女神のアクアじゃ主人公をその気にさせることもできない。おっと、作品を間違えた。
あまりにも手がかりが全部その方向を指してるせいで、ディーナが女神だっていう説をちょっと疑い始めてる自分がいる。
かわいそうなスコルピウスは、成層圏から地面までライダーキックを食らってた。最高だった。

Terra and Luna feel like both inevitable future allies and probably a side couple too. Good for her if it works out, she even got a princess carry this episode.
Useless goddess Aqua can't even arouse the MC. Wait, wrong series.
There's a small part of me that is starting to doubt that Dina is the goddess purely by how heavily they're pointing every clue that direction.
Poor Scorpius got Rider Kicked from the stratosphere all the way down to the ground, and it was incredible.

Terra is also the the other visible planetary body in astrology besides the five classical planets and the two Luminaries (sun and moon). It makes for another nice astrological motif, with the Earth being the +1 to the Seven Luminaries.

もしかしてルファスのテーマって、プレイヤーのテーマ（もしくはゲームのルファスのテーマ）じゃないのかな。あの曲は第1話の冒頭の場面のアレンジで、別のアレンジがプレイヤーが計画を話していた前回にも使われてる。
本物のルファスが主人公の戦いにどんどん出てくるようになってるみたいだから、「ルファスのテーマ」はだんだん流れなくなるか、プレイヤーが主導権を取り戻せたらもっと流れるようになるかもしれない。

i wonder if the Lufas' theme is not the Player theme (or Game Lufas theme). The theme is a remix of the opening scene of episode 1 and an other remix of it is used in the last episode when the player is talking about his plan.
Since it seems the real Lufas is appearing more and more in the MC's fights, it could mean the "Lufas' theme" will appear less and less or more if the player manages to take the control back.
(it's pure speculation btw).

もう一つ最高だったのは、スコルピウスとの戦いの最中にルファスがラフ画みたいな絵になったところ。
ルファスが元のルファスに呑まれていくこと、記憶を操るディーナの本当の目的、そして女神のシナリオ。この物語には乗り越えるべき面白い課題がたくさんある！

"There are never any safe yandere though..." Lol. Between that and Lufas and Dina comparing the Devil King's son Terra to an Otome game romance option, I sure enjoyed their chat.
What was also fantastic was Lufas turning into a sketch drawing during her fight with Scorpius.
Between Lufas losing themselves to OG Lufas, Dina's true goals with her memory manipulation, and the Goddess's Scenario. There are a lot of interesting challenges to surmount in this story!

Yeah, so like… we’re all in agreement that Dina has got to be the goddess’s avatar right? At least the show is progressing with other characters getting suspicious of her too, especially after last season. She’s still funny as hell though
Honestly, I really like this world and characters. This is one of those shows that makes you feel like it’s gonna be isekai slop but actually kind of slaps.

うん、ここまで来たらミスリードなのは間違いないと思う。怪しんでる人が多すぎるし、OPでもディーナと女神の髪の色や髪型、背丈なんかが同じだってことを目の前に突きつけてくるし。
いや、ディーナのことはまったく信用してないし、女神の化身じゃないけど女神の意思で動いてたとしても驚かない。「悪いやつに取り入っておけば自分は安全」っていうお決まりのやつだ。ある程度は両方にいい顔をしようとしてるんだと思う。

Yeah, I have no doubt it's a misdirect at this point. Way too many people are suspicious plus the OP kinds shoves it in your face that Dina and the goddess have the same hair color/style, height, etc.
Now look, I don't trust Dina in any way and would not be surprised if she is acting for the will of the goddess without being an avatar of her. Like the classic "If I get in good with the bad guy I'm safe" deal. Think she is trying to play both sides to some degree.

ルーナはダフト・パンクから出てきたみたいだけど、デザインはめちゃくちゃ好きだと言わせてくれ。青い肌、金色に輝く長い髪、金色の細く長い眉、少し濃い金色の瞳、そして真っ黒な白目。見とれてしまう。
あと、今回の作画はマジで場外ホームランだった。期待をはるかに超えてた。1期もここ2話も作画は良かったけど、少なくとも戦闘シーンは今回に遠く及ばなかったと思う。それとも自分だけ？

It's like Luna came out of Daft Punk, tho gotta say I LOVE her visual design. The blue skin, Golden shiny long hair, golden thin long eyebrows, golden slightly darker pupils and utter black sclera mesmerizing.
Also HOLY the animation this episode felt out of the park, was way beyond what I expected. The animation was still good in S1 and the last 2 episodes, but I don't feel it was even close to what we got in this ep, at least in the fight scenes, or am I the only one?

ディーナは息をするように怪しい。それでもベストガールだけど。
アイゴケロスがかわいい魔神族カップルの邪魔をして、しかも彼らの出自について衝撃の設定をさらっと明かすとは。しかも今や魔神族まで「愛の力」の主人公補正をちょっともらってる。
テラについてはどれもすごくいい疑問だ。メタ的に見れば、元のゲームで味方になるDLCキャラなのかもしれない。ただ「本物の」異世界でそういう仕組みになってるとは思えないけど。また女神が首を突っ込んでるなら別だが。

Not Aigokeros getting in the way of a cute devilfolk couple and dropping surprise lore about their origins. And now, even devilfolk get a bit of "power of love" plot armour.
Those are very good questions about Terra. From a meta perspective, he might be a DLC character in the original game that acts as an ally character, except I doubt that's how it works in the "real" isekai world. Unless it's the goddess meddling again.

たぶんね。でも「本物じゃない」かどうかは議論の余地がある。作り物でも、意識があって、痛みや愛、恐れ、憎しみなんかを感じられるなら、その意味では「本物」と言える。

Probably, but "not real" is debatable. Constructs can still be "real" in the sense they are conscious beings, can feel pain, love, fear, hate etc.

ディーナは化身だけどプレイヤーでもあって、女神はディーナを操ってはいるけど支配まではできてないんじゃないかと思い始めてる。

I'm beginning to think, that Dina is the Avatar but also a player and the goddess does manipulate Dina but can't control her.

いやあ、このアニメはどんどん良くなっていく！ 魅力的で楽しいキャラが揃ってて、「本当の」危機感がある話がどんどん深くなっていって、しかも楽しくて動きのある戦闘シーンまで？ 最高だ。

Gosh this anime just keeps getting better and better! Sweet cast of charming and fun characters, interesting plot that seems to get deeper and deeper with ACTUAL stakes AND fun dynamic fight scenes? its peak.
