第1期の最終回からそのまま続く形で始まった第2期。Reddit では「話の半分くらい使う総集編が無くてすごく嬉しかった」と、前置きなしの作りを喜ぶ声が目立ちました。同じ土曜に『はめふら』なども始まり、「今期の土曜は間違いなく豪華だわ」と並べて楽しむ人もいます。
話題の中心は、マインに付いた3人の側仕えです。デリアがあっさり神殿長の間者だと明かした場面には驚きと苦笑が集まり、「初日からもう3人の厄介者を抱えてるじゃん」と、マインの前途を案じつつ楽しみにする感想が並びました。英語圏ならではの話題として、神殿長と神官長の英語の呼び名が翻訳ごとに違うことへの戸惑いや、神々の名前がドイツ語だと読み解く書き込みもあります。

第1話
青色巫女見習いとして、マインの神殿通いが始まる。側仕えとして付いたのは、神官長が選んだ年長のフラン、口の悪い少年ギル、赤毛の少女デリアの3人。ところがデリアは自分から神殿長の間者だと明かし、神殿長の愛人になるのが夢だと言い放つ。神殿長は相変わらずマインを敵視していて、図書室を楽しみにするマインの神殿での暮らしは、初日から波乱含みで幕を開ける。

Anime is pretty mediocre and the manga is much better. You should read the LN though because the manga would take like three years to finish Part 2 while the English LN will finished Part 2 in June, and by the end of Part 2 the story is only 25% over...

That's not the point. Setting was incredibly f*****g bland. Those communist medieval buildings still make me laugh to this day.

見る側はマインと同じ知識から始まるんだ。マインは前世の記憶はあるけど、ずっと部屋で寝込んでた体の弱い小さな女の子だ。周りのことなんか何も知らなくて当然だろ
それにアニメは日常の場面や世界の作り込みをかなり飛ばしてる
ただ、この小説の登場人物は理屈で動きすぎてるとは思う。気持ちで動かないわけじゃないけど、感情や偏見が単純化されてる感じがする。それが話の邪魔にはあまりならないのは救いだな
It really isn't.
You start from the same knowledge base as Myne, which is a frail little girl who spent her life sick in her room with memories of another world. Of course she knows f**k-all about her environment.
Also, the anime really skipped through a lot of SOL and world-building too.
I do think people tend to be overly rational in this novel, though. It's not like they never follow their feelings, but their emotions and prejudices do tend to be simplified, I feel. It's a good thing this doesn't interfere with the story much.

Kids are often way smarter in anime than they would be in real life at the same age. But I think this show takes it to the next level, she's so f*****g tiny and no one questions her intelligence.

If they ask too many questions she might just find a more compliant merchant to give loads of money to.
彼女と近くで仕事する人はみんな疑問に思ってるよ。協力者が見つかるたびに大きな見どころになってる。オットーみたいにうまく利用するだけであまり気にしない人もいるけど、ルッツもベンノも彼女と組むことにはかなり不安を抱いてた。神官長だって同じはずなんだけど、商売のことは分からないし、彼女の魔力に目がくらんでて神殿の外での商売にまで気が回ってないんだよな。
Basically everyone she works closely with questions it. It's a major plot point every time she finds someone to help her. Other people just take advantage of it, like Otto, and don't worry too much about it, but both Lutz and Benno had serious misgivings about working with her, and High Priest would too except that he doesn't understand business and he's too dazzled by her mana to pay much attention to her business outside the Church.

To be fair she's like 8. So not exactly the brightest bulb. Lutz is honestly an outlier for how high specs he is.
8歳でも初対面でここまでやらかさない子はいるかもしれないけど、あの年の子がすぐボロを出すのは十分ありうる。いや、本当のバカは子どもにこの役目を任せた神殿長のほうだ。まあ貴族の子は小さいころから特に用心深く育てられるのかもしれないけど。あの社会はかなり殺伐としてそうだし。
Maybe some 8 year olds wouldn't screw it up this much at their first meeting but it's unlikely that a girl her age wouldn't let something slip fast. No, the dumb idiot was the high bishop who appointed a kid to the task, but maybe noble kids are especially guarded from a young age. Their society seems pretty cutthroat.

Honestly, super pleased that there wasn't a like half episode length recap. Basically, "Look S1 wasn't that long ago, let's just get started!". I really enjoyed that attitude, and am looking forward to the rest of S2!
OVAの出来事に触れてたのも良かった。ちゃんと話がつながってる。

It's nice to see Myne back again. It's only her first day and she's already dealing with 3 huge pain in the asses. I knew that Priest won't make her life here any easier. I am excited to see how she'll turn this entire situation in her favor. Not much else to say really, it's Bookworm and I'm glad to have another season of it

It simply cracks me up that the Gods are simply German words:

これまで見た限り、神官長と比べたら賢いほうじゃないのは確かだけど、プライドの高さは一番だな。
それに公平に言うと、あの赤毛の子があっさり自分の関与をバラすとは思ってなかったんだろ。上の人の前ではほかの人の前よりずっと行儀よくしてるんだろうし。
From what we've seen, he definitely isn't the smartest tool in the shed compared to the Head Priest, but he sure is the most prideful.
And to be fair, I don't think he realized that the red-haired girl would casually blurt out his involvement, since I would imagine that she behaves far better in front of him and other superiors compared to everyone else.

Perhaps everything went smoother than they expected. They maybe initially thought they needed more time, besides there is also the issue of reserving the timeslot.
この回は長く感じた……いい意味でね！いろんなことが進んだし、この作品が帰ってきて本当に最高。3人の側仕えについてはまだどう思えばいいか分からないけど、マインならそのうち手なずけられる気がする 🙂
This episode felt long...in like the best way possible! We got through so much and wow is it great to have this show back Not sure how I feel about the 3 retainers but I feel like Myne can work her magic on them eventually 🙂

It felt so long and so short at the same time. A lot happened then it ended and I was so back in that I was expecting it to keep going. "What do you mean 'to be continued'?!"
And all Myne needs to do is kill them with kindness! Or let them in on her cash flow and cake supply...

Pretty much. The first season just adapted the first part of the LN story in its entirety, so this is just doing the second part onwards.

追記：見返したら、神官長は Head Priest って呼ばれてる？それならそこまで大問題じゃないけど、ラノベ読者にはすごく紛らわしい
Great episode, but I really hope they fix the mistranslation in that last scene. Delia was send by the High Bishop (d**k-Santa), not the High Priest (blue wonder). Differentiating between them is pretty important
edit: Looking back, is High Priest being called Head Priest? Won't be that big a deal in that case, but very confusing for LN readers

いきなりデフォルメのマインの小芝居が来た。ああ、帰ってきたって感じ。
父さんはマインが神殿にいることを心配してる（この様子だともっともだ）。でも父親として見守るのは別として、いざとなれば彼女は自分の身は自分で守れる。前期の最終回で何か学んだとしたら、雲行きが怪しくなったら彼女はいつでも爆発して、悪いやつらに「リーディング・レインボー」魔法をお見舞いできるってことだ。それですぐに場が収まる。
ピザ、グラタン、ラザニア。マインはチーズが好きらしい。本人も言ってたように、その知識で自分のイタリアンレストランを開けそうだ。あの『Piacevole』ってアニメの店のこの世界版を作れるな。
部屋に入った瞬間、みんなが自分の噂をしてたって分かったことある？それが一度に50回起きたことは？神殿のマインはまさにそれだ。で、側仕えたちは初っ端からなかなか個性的だな。感情を隠そうともしない。でもシーズンの終わりには、マインはお得意の魅力と機転で彼らも神殿のほかの人たちも味方にしてると思う。
で、あの子は8歳にして愛人になる野望を堂々と宣言。いやあ、結構なことで……
And right off the bat we get a cartoony Myne cutaway bit. Oh it's good to be back.
Pops is worried about Myne being at the church (and with good reason by the look of things), but on top of his looking out for his daughter if worse comes to worse she could handle herself. I mean if we learned anything from last seasons finale it's that if something starts to go south she could always flare up and give any ill doers a taste of her Reading Rainbow magic. And that should put things back in line real quick.
Pizza, gratin, lasagna. Myne likes cheese by the look of it. And like she said, she could start up her own Italian restaurant with her knowledge, make this world's version of the restaurant from that Piacevole anime.
Ever walk into a room and know that everyone was just talking about you? Has it ever happened to you fifty times at once? Cuz that's clearly what's happening to Myne here at the church. And her retainers are certainly interesting characters right off the bat to say the least. Wearing themselves out on their sleeves like this. But, I'm sure by seasons end Myne will win them and the rest of the people in the church over with her trademark charm and wit.
And that one girl boldly states her ambitions to be a concubine, already at the age of 8. Ain't that just swell...
