いちばん多かったのは、男二人が座って喋るだけの回にどれだけ引き込まれたかという声です。Reddit には「あれが23分だったなんて絶対に信じられない」があり、「ほぼ全部が説明だけの回なのに、あまりに心に残る出来だった」と続きます。一方で「結果はずっと喋ってるだけの回だった」と書く人もいて、受け取り方は割れています。
もう一つは、すべての引き金が地下のネズミだったことです。ネズミへの怒りと、夜食に手を出したロキシーを責める冗談が並び、ルーデウスの姓と結び付ける読みまで出ました。老ルーデウスが最後に眼を光らせた理由の指摘は Reddit 側に集まり、4chan では人神とオルステッドの筋を詰める話が長く続きました。

第12話
未来から来た老ルーデウスが、ルーデウスと二人きりで向き合う回。地下のネズミが持ち込んだ石化症でロキシーが死に、続いてシルフィも失われるという先を告げられ、妻の妊娠もその口から知らされます。ルーデウスは地下のネズミを氷で始末し、老ルーデウスを火葬します。老ルーデウスは去る間際、予見眼で妻たちの姿を見ていました。

俺の記憶違いじゃなければ、日記をすぐ読むのは原作から変えてるよな？ まずエリスへの手紙を書いて、翌朝ロキシーとシルフィと過ごして気を落ち着けて、それからやっと日記を読んだはずだ。文句じゃない、この形式で流れをよくするために順番を入れ替えるのは分かる。14話までに準備のところをだいたい消化しようとしてるんだろうな
If I'm not mistaken, him reading the diary right away is a change from the LN right? I recall him writing the letter to Eris first, spending time the next morning with Roxy and Sylphie to calm himself down, and then finally reading the diary. Not complaining, understandable to rearrange things a bit to flow better in this format, makes me think they are trying to get through most of [spoiler]the preparations[/spoiler] by the end of episode 14.

細かい描写を圧縮するのはいい。本だと読者は細部を読むのに慣れてるから成立するけど、あの衝撃的な打ち明けのあとに朝飯食って腕立てしてる場面が来たら退屈になる。映像は鉄が熱いうちに打つものだ
Condensing fluff details is okay. It works in the book as the reader is used to reading details. But him going and eating breakfast and doing his morning push ups would be boring after a dramatic reveal. On screen you strike while the iron is hot.

今さら気づいたんだけど、老ルーデウスがオルステッドを見つけられなかったのは、ロキシーが死んだ時点でオルステッドが新しいループを始めるしかなく、あの世界からいなくなっていたからか。最初に読んだとき繋げられなかったのが信じられない。まあこれは後になって分かるピースなんだろうな

That said, given what we know about how time travel and time looping works, [spoiler]the 'future' ceases to exist at the moment someone travels back. There are no branching timelines, there's one that is continually overwritten. I assume it's a fan art depiction of Fatdeus saving Nanahoshi from the truck without both of them getting isekai'd, but both of them are acting out of character IMO, especially Nanahoshi.

In my headcanon, after the eventual MT sequel, Nanahoshi did what she had to do and Akihito stays in the Sixfacedworld with Lara. Nanahoshi decide to go back and went straight to the moment the truck was coming for them. She saves Fatdeus from dying and because she know deep down hes a good person, and the apathy of having +100 years old, she keeps visiting him

Kinda weird that Rudeus still spoke fluent Japanese after 16 years of having nobody to speak with.
People partially forget their native languages after that time and start using non-native vocabulary and grammar in place of the native ones.
彼は頭の中で常に独白してるから、それで保ててるんだよ。普通の人は生きてる間ずっと内心で物事に実況を入れたりしないけど、転生者であるルーデウスにはそれが当たり前になってる。
これが実のところ無職転生の一番独特なところで、ほぼ全部がルーデウスの視点から描かれて、彼のあらゆる観察が読める。ルーデウスが主役じゃない回は、ごく普通の異世界転生ものに見えてしまう
he has a running monologue in his head, that's how he stays on top of it. most people don't go through life commentating on things internally but that's just how Rudeus sees it, since he's reincarnated.
really that's one of the most unique aspects of MT, almost everything is seen from Rudeus's perspective and we get his observations on everything. the episodes where Rudeus is not the MC just feel like bog-standard isekai.

ジャドゥガルは、アニメを観るよりマンガをまとめて読んだ方がいい類の作品に見える。観てみたけど、作中で何年も経ってるのに主人公の復讐計画がほとんど進んだ気がしなかった
Jaadugar seems like one of those series you're better off reading the manga in bulk than watching an anime. I watched it, and despite years passing by in universe, it barely felt like the MCs supposed revenge plot moved forward at all.

This doesn't make sense at all. If the mangod can see into the future why couldn't it see Ruedus doing things differently from here on out? It's just too convoluted after reading about the Miko. I hate and love this anime at the same time.

ほぼ全部が説明だけの回なのに、あまりに心に残る出来だった。派手なものは何も必要なくて、こっちの意識を掴む恐ろしく上手い語りの引きだけで足りていた。今回が一番好きな回かもしれない
This might be my favorite episode when it was just all exposition but done so hauntingly well, didn't need anything too flashy just a crazily good narrative hook to get our attention.
今回はほとんどルーデウスと老ルーデウスのやり取りだけだったのに、それでもシリーズ全体で最高の回のひとつになってる
The entire episode was pretty much just a back-and-forth between Rudeus and Oldeus, yet it still managed to be one of the absolute best episodes of the entire series.

老ルーデウスの眼が光ったのは予見眼を使ったからで、たぶん数分先の、ロキシーとシルフィが部屋に入ってくる未来まで見えていたんだ。
すごく優しい場面だよ…最後の瞬間に、愛した人ともう一度会えたんだから
Old Rudeus' eye glowed from using his demon eye foresight and most likely able to see a few minutes into the future where Roxy and Sylphy come into the room.
It's so sweet 😭 his last moments he's able to meet with his loved one once again.

3期で全部が変わって、そのきっかけが地下室と日記だったアニメを見るたび1円もらえるなら、いま2円持ってることになる。ついでに言っておくけど、この部分はもう一方の作品でああいう語りがされる前に書かれてるから、たぶん単なる偶然だ
If I had a penny for all the anime where everything changed in season 3 and the catalyst for that involved a basement and a journal, I'd have two pennies now. And I will remind people this bit was written before that bit of storytelling in the other show, so more likely than not this is just pure coincidence.

I love the detail on Oldeus using his last of his power to look into the future to see Sylphie and Roxy one last time
彼が唯一やわらかく優しくなった瞬間だ。人生で一番愛した二人にやっと再会できたから。
あれだけのことを経てきたんだから、あれくらいの安らぎは与えられて当然だよ
The only moment where he got soft and tender because he finally got to see the two greatest loves of his life again.
After everything he'd been through, he deserved that amount of peace.

未来のルーデウスの登場があまりに突然で不気味だったから、今回は暗い話になるとは思ってた。でもここまで暗いとは思わなかった。
そして杉田はあの役をきっちり演じ切ったな。あの苦悶と後悔がすごく本物だった
I figured this episode will be dark considering how sudden and eerie future Rudeus' arrival was, but didnt expect it would be this dark.
And goddamn did Sugita do justice to the character. The agony and regret felt so real

Sugita's voice really helped inject how much his been through as he retells his experience to Rudy just to hammer in how f****d up his timeline/history has been.

That shot of the old rudeus face reflected in the crystal is so cool. Bind sometimes just decides to make something pretty and cool for the sake of it. and i love it. we need more art for arts sake.
今回は演出の選択が素晴らしいものばかりだった。心に残るBGMから寄りのカットまで、ここ数話ずっと居心地のいい場所だった家が、ルーデウスが老ルーデウスを火葬してネズミを殺しに向かうにつれて恐ろしい空気をまとっていく
A lot of amazing direction choices this episode, from the haunting OST to all the close-ups, adding up to how the house which was this comfy environment the past few episode having this dreadful ambience to it as Rudy makes his way to cremate Oldeus and kill the rat.

And with that warning, rudeus managed to prevent them entering.

総評
4chan の長い応酬は人神とオルステッドに向きました。姿を見せない理由を「ロキシーが死んだ時点でオルステッドが新しいループを始めるしかなく、あの世界からいなくなっていたからか」と読む人には「そう、ロキシーが死んだ時点でさっさと居なくなったわけだ」と同意が付き、「違う。オルステッドがループすれば世界は破壊されてリセットされる」という反論も返りました。人神の狙いは「彼はサラ・コナーみたいな立場なんだよ」と読まれ、「人神が未来を見られるなら、なんでルーデウスがここから先で違う行動をするのを見られないんだ？」と首をひねる声もあります。
Reddit で数が集まったのは妊娠の告げ方で、「妻の妊娠を知る方法として、これ以上ひどいものがあるか」に「つらいのは、妊娠していなければ彼女は病気にかからなかったってことだ」が続きます。
いちばん広まったのは、老ルーデウスが最後に眼を光らせた理由です。「老ルーデウスの眼が光ったのは予見眼を使ったからで、たぶん数分先の、ロキシーとシルフィが部屋に入ってくる未来まで見えていたんだ」に「彼が唯一やわらかく優しくなった瞬間だ」と受ける声が続きました。演技への言及は杉田に集中し、4chan では「神回。杉田は老ルーデウスの演技で自分を越えてきた」に「そう言おうと思ってた、杉田はほんとに良い仕事をした」が付いています。人神の見せ方には「多くても不気味な笑みの静止画1枚にすべきだった」という不満が出て、次回には「今クールの予算の90%が13話（日記）に使われたらしい」という噂が付きました。
