話は面白いと思うけど、恋愛としてはなかなか乗れない。紗都子はすごくいいキャラだけど、進平はガチでイカれてる。そのうちマシになるのかな？ 舞台の日本が過酷だから、生い立ちでどこがおかしいのか説明されるといいけど。

I think the plot is good but I'm having a hard time feeling the romance. Satoko is a great character but Shinpei is f*****g nuts. Maybe he gets better after a while? Hopefully his upbringing will explain what's wrong with him since the Japan they live in is harash.

Without Satoko the family ends and someone else probably takes over their estate and lands so it's not really a surprise that they'd punish Kotaro for her getting abducted on his watch.

感情が不安定で、何にでも妙に子どもっぽい態度をとるのは少しかわいいけど、そのときの気分や紗都子への気持ちで一瞬で切り替わるのは、かなり怖い。
でもまあ、島でいちばんの景色を見せてあげてたけどね！

Guy is emotionally unbalanced and has this weird kind of childlike disposition towards everything which is a little charming but also pretty terrifying for how quickly he can change on a dime depending on his mood and feelings towards Satoko in that moment.
But, y'know, he still showed her the best views on the island!

だよな。真剣でちょっとかわいい顔から、一瞬で本気で怖くなるのはすごい。紗都子は今のところ互角に渡り合ってるし、本気の謝罪まで引き出した。イカれた殺し屋が相手なら、見てる誰がやるよりずっとうまくやってるよ、笑。

Yeah. It’s amazing how quickly he can go from sincere and slightly charming to downright terrifying in an instant. Satoko’s holding her own with him so far and she even got a sincere apology from him. That’s a lot better than any of us could ever hope to accomplish with an unhinged assassin lol.

Quite apparent it's a result of him growing up in a cutthroat environment and probably being able to trust very few people. I imagine his murderous edges will be filed down a bit thanks to her.

Yeah. He’s already admitted that he’s never had a reason to live and he was perfectly content with dying whenever. Sakoto being in his life might mellow him out in more ways than one.

紗都子はまだ認める気になってないけど、少しずつ彼に惹かれていってるのは見え見えだ。
いつか、進平への気持ちが、トラックにひかれて異世界に行く人みたいに一気に押し寄せて、自分と戦う回が来そう。「どうして人殺しなんかを好きになれるの？ 私、どうかしてる」みたいなのを経て、最後は受け入れるやつ。

Sakoto’s not ready to admit but the writing’s on the wall that she’s slowly falling for him.
I imagine a future episode where her feelings for Shinpei hit her like truck-kun isekai's people and she has a fight with herself. Like "How can I love a murderer? What is wrong with me?" type stuff before finally accepting it.

それな、笑。お風呂のシーンで、もうその片りんが見えてた。このイカれたサイコパスに本気で惹かれていると紗都子が気づく場面が、もっと見たい、笑。

Yup lol. We’ve already gotten a hint of that during the bathing scene. I’m looking forward to more moments with Sakoto realizing that she’s genuinely developing feelings for this unhinged psychopath lol.

蛍だらけの野原に連れていって、ひざまずいてプロポーズ……と思ったら、遊女になれって！ これぞ後藤。イカれた主人公が大好きだ。
一方の紗都子は、このとんでもない状況でも冷静さを失わない。地面の米を食べて、舞でみんなを圧倒して、どこを取ってもボスの立ち回りだ。

Takes her to a field full of fireflies, kneels down, and proposes... that she become a courtesan! Just Goto things. Love our unhinged hero.
Satoko meanwhile remains sensible and manages to keep her wits about her in this crazy situation. Eating the rice up from the ground and flooring everyone with her dance - boss moves all around.

オープニングに、開胸手術の跡みたいなものがある紗都子のカットがある。もう手術は試したあとなのかもしれない。

Light shimmering in pair of eyes that are usually devoid of it always has such a striking effect. Probably not nearly enough to balance out Goto's murdery side though (or at least "not yet"?)
Just wonder if Satoko will be able to find a doctor or the next best thing to one during her stay on the island.

第1話を見たときは、継母が毒でも盛ってるせいで具合が悪いんじゃないか、だから離れたら自然に良くなるかも、なんて説を立ててた……

In the first episode I had a theory that perhaps her health issue was caused by step-mom poisoning her or something, and thus perhaps her health would naturally improve now that she's away form her...
But she did have some heartburns? this episode as well, so if that's not it, they better find someone, or it'll be a very short marriage!

第1話の時点で、生まれつきの心臓の病気っぽいのはかなりはっきりしてたと思う。残念ながら、すごく現実的な病気だ。

It felt pretty clear from the first episode that she seems to have some kind of congenital heart defect. Unfortunately a very realistic issue.

進平みたいな人にも、人間らしさがひとかけら残ってるんだな。

Even someone like Shinpei still has a sliver of humanity left in him.

進平はまさに生きる理由を探していて、いまはそれが紗都子なんだ。
戦い慣れた殺し屋でも、短いかもしれない人生で、一度くらいは純粋な恋をしてみたいと思うものなのかも。

Shinpei is indeed looking for a reason to live and Satoko is now it.
Even battle hardened assassins may wish to experience pure romantic love at least once in their possibly short lives.

いや、お似合いだと思う！進平は紗都子の先が長くなさそうなことを気にしてない。あの稼業じゃ自分も長生きできないかもしれないから。彼がちょっとイカれてるとしても、紗都子が病気を隠さず、ありのままを受け入れてもらえてるのを見るのは微笑ましい。

Well, it seems like a perfect match to me! Shinpei doesn't mind that Satoko seemily doesn't have a long life ahead because with his career he might not live long either. It is sweet (despite him being a little crazy) seeing Sakoto being accepted for who she is and not having to hide her condition.

幸せな新婚生活まで思い描いてる……二人だけのこぢんまりした家で、お互いに世話を焼き合いながら、彼のほうは相変わらず定期的に殺しの仕事を続ける。ほら、家族を持ちたい人なら誰でも夢見るやつ！

He's even imagining a blissful wedded life...just a quaint little home for the two of them where they take care of and tend to each other while he still keeps assassinating people on the regular. Y'know, the dream of anyone who wants a family!

体のことは別にしても、実質的に跡取りのお嬢様なんだし、本人も真剣に取り組んでるから、育ちの一環で日本舞踊を習ってたのは間違いないと思う。
遊郭に行きたいと頼むときの覚悟の決まりっぷりが最高。人生でいちばん厳しい戦いに挑むみたいだった。

My yandere boyfriend can't be this...psycho! And endearing!?

I definitely think she was probably instructed in traditional Japanese dance as part of her upbringing since, constitution aside, she effectively IS an heiress and actually takes it seriously.
I love how committed she was in asking to go to the brothel like she's facing the toughest fight of her entire life.

いやあ、一流の美術と、すごくいい作画が作品をぐっと引き上げてる。世界がぱっと明るく見える。リメイク版の『うる星やつら』と同じチームで、あっちも美術が見事だった。
2歳年上なのに、進平の精神年齢が子どもなのがすごく面白い。まあ、驚くことでもないと思うけど。紗都子に自分が必要だとすがってほしかったのに、それが裏目に出た。
舞は美しかった。ずっと箱入りで守られてきた紗都子が、自分の人生を自分で動かす必要があると気づくところがいい。進平があれだけ執着してるんだから、男と寝る心配なんてしなくていいだろうし。

Man the top-notch art direction and really good animation add so much. Really brightens up the world. This is the same team that did Urusei Yatsura remake which had outstanding art direction as well.
It's very amusing that despite being two years older, Shinpei has the mentality of a child. Which I don't think is that surprising. He wanted Satoko to beg that she needs him and that backfired.
The dance was beautiful. I do like that Satoko realizes that she needs agency in her life as she has been very sheltered and protected. She shouldn't worry about sleeping with any man with how obsessive Shinpei is.

正直、尊敬するしかない。彼女くらい恵まれた身分なら、たいていは絶望するか、順応を拒むかだろう。でも紗都子は、家族のもとへ帰るためなら何でもするし、誰にでも愛想を振りまくし、自分から前に出ていく。
そして進平は、愛のためなら誰でも殺す。たぶん彼女も、自分自身も。お似合いのふたりじゃないか？

Honestly have to respect that probably many people as privileged as her would have descended into despair or refused to adapt but Satoko is willing to do anything, charm anyone, and put herself out there to get back to her family.
And Shinpei will kill anyone, including possibly her and himself, out of love! Aren't they the perfect couple?

あの護衛を無能とまでは言えないと思う。いつもとは違う外出だったから、行き先は誰にも分からなかったはずだし、彼女が危ないと考える理由も無かった。というか、誘拐犯の顔ぶれを見ると、彼ひとりで止められたかも怪しい。護衛ひとりは、酔っぱらいや厄介者がお嬢様に絡まないようにするためのものだ。計画された誘拐を防ぐなら、もっと人数が要る

I'm not sure I'd call the guard incompetent. It was a non-routine outing so no one should have known where they were going, and they had no reason to believe that she was in danger. Hell looking at the kidnappers I'm not even sure that he would have been enough by himself to stop them. A single guard is for when you want to make sure drunks or trouble makers don't bother the lady. To stop a planned kidnapping you would need more people than that.

いや、ひとりで誘拐を止められなかったとしても、走って町の見回りか誰かに助けを呼べば、逃げられる前に間に合ったかもしれない！
どっちにしろ、護衛として付き添ってたんだから、最低限の役目は「そばにいる、目を離さない」ことだったはず。なのに、大した理由も無く離れたんだ！

I mean, even if he wasn't able to stop the kidnapping by himself, he could run and call for help from city guards or what not, and maybe get them before they make their escape!
Regardless, he accompanied her in some guard capacity, the bare minimum was 'be with her/keep an eye on her', but he left for no good reason!

But he wasn't there to do that either. He just wandered off, well out of earshot. With how the shop was smashed up, there must have been a significant commotion during the kidnapping. He literally had one job and he didn't do it.

進平が紗都子を連れていった見張り台の、下に転がる死体を、カメラがさらっと流していくのがすごい。まだ2話目なのに、死体がもう背景の飾り扱いだ

The casual way the camera panned over the dead bodies at the base of the tower Shinpei took Satoko to. Just 2 episodes in and bodies are already just set dressing.

これで、紗都子は島を脱出する覚悟を決めた。遊女にならなきゃいけないなんて、ひどい状況でかわいそうだ。でも、進平の助けがあれば、この悪夢を切り抜けられるくらいには頭が回りそうだ

So Satoko has steeled her resolve to escape the island. Poor girl is in an awful situation, having to become a courtesan. She seems quick-witted enough to navigate this nightmare with Shinpei helping her.

I wonder how close Shinpei actually is to those courtesans, though. They must not love all sides of him otherwise he’d have gone yandere for them long ago, right?

ここまで本当に楽しんでる。いちばんの理由は主人公の女の子の気概だ。怖がりでか弱いのに、生き延びるためなら何でもやるのを恐れない（いや、怖がってはいるけど、こらえるしかないと分かってるって意味で）。理屈の通った強いキャラで、生き延びる勘もいいのを、話がすごくうまく見せてる。気の弱い内気な女の子のアニメが嫌いってわけじゃないけど、こういう主人公はアニメではまだかなり珍しいから、わくわくしてる！

I am really enjoying this anime so far, mostly, because of the main girl’s spirit, she is scared and she is frail but she doesn’t afraid to do things to survive (I mean she is afraid but knows she needs to suck it up in a way), story really well shows a logical strong character with good survival instincts. Not saying I hate other type of anime with shy timid girls, but this MC(girl) character is pretty rare still in anime, so I am excited!

うわ、これは本当にハマった！ 紗都子の描かれ方が大好き。進平もね。ヤンデレ好きのこっちは、もう足をバタバタさせて叫んでる。

Oh now I’m REALLY hooked! I am loving the way Satoko is written. Same with Shinpei. And this yandere-lover is already kicking her feet and squealing.

1週間前にたまたまこのアニメを見つけて、今は漫画を半分まで読んだ。それにしても、作画がきれいで生き生きしてる。楽しんでるよ

I'm glad I stumbled upon this anime a week ago, and now I'm halfway through the manga. But gosh, the animation is gorgeous and full of life. I am enjoying:-)

ふたりは最初から島にいたよ。第1話で、さらわれた直後に、船で彼女が島へ運ばれるところが映ってる

They were already on the island. We see the boat bringing her there in the first episode, right after she's abducted.

後藤の大量殺人は許せても、昔の日本で18歳の後藤が16歳の子と結婚したがるのは許せない（皮肉）
この第2話は、第1話よりも物語の導入と掴みとしてよくできてたと思う。紗都子の置かれた状況と、すぐに家へ戻れない理由が分かったし、甘やかされて育った自分と向き合わされ、自分で立ち上がるしかなくなる姿も見られた。二人がどう逃げ出すつもりかも分かったし、二人のやりとりも楽しくて、「こいつ最悪だ！」から、照れる彼を見て「もしかして彼女なら更生させられるかも」に変わっていく。
それと、エンドロールのあとに、あのひどい使用人兼護衛が、彼女を連れ戻して名誉を挽回しようとしてる。たぶん過ちを正そうとしてるだけなんだろうけど、あいつが好きじゃないから、やっぱり悪人で、これも計画の一部っていう筋をどうにか考えようとしてる。そのうち彼が紗都子を見つけて、彼女が家に帰るのを断って後藤のそばに残る、なんて場面が来るんじゃないかな。

I can forgive Goto for mass murder but I can’t forgive him for wanting to marry a 16 year old when he is 18 in ancient Japan /s
This episode to me did a better job as a setup and a hook for the series than the first one. We understand Satoko’s situation now and why she can’t immediately return to her family, we see her forced to come to terms with her pampered life and be forced to stand up for herself, we get how they plan to escape and we see some enjoyable interactions between the two which make you go from: oh, he is horrible! to seeing him blush and thinking: maybe she can fix him.
Also after the credits we get the terrible servant/guard looking to redeem himself by getting her back. He probably is just trying to right the wrong but I don’t like the guy so im just trying to come up with a way where he is still evil and this is part of his plan. There will probably be a moment in the future where he finds Satoko and she ends up refusing to return to the family and stays with Goto.

後藤はめちゃくちゃ怖いのに、紗都子を心から喜ばせることもしてるのが、見ていて本当に楽しい。からかったことを彼が謝ったときは、本気でびっくりした。あのイカれた人殺しの振る舞いの奥には、今まで幸せだったことも、生きる理由があったことも無い人がいる。今後の話でそこがもっと掘り下げられるといいな。紗都子はまだ認める気になってないけど、少しずつ彼に惹かれていってるのは見え見えだ。新しい試練を乗り越えるたびに、彼女の芯の強さが育っていくのが大好き。

The fact that Goto is terrifying as hell and yet he’s still doing things to make Satoko genuinely happy is so fun to watch. I was genuinely shocked when he apologized to her for making fun of her. Underneath all that crazy and murderous behavior is someone who’s never been happy or had a reason to live before now. I hope that continues to get expanded on in future episodes. Sakoto’s not ready to admit but the writing’s on the wall that she’s slowly falling for him. l I love that her inner strength continues to grow as she overcomes new challenges.

紗都子が、継母が誘拐を仕組んだとは思っていないのが興味深い。今のところいちばん怪しいのはあの母娘だけど、前回の誘拐犯たちの会話からすると、ただの行きずりの誘拐で、見た目のせいでさらわれただけって可能性もある。
お風呂のシーンはかなり笑った！ 未来の「妻」として彼に訴えかけたあとで、自分さえ無事に逃げられるなら死にたければ死ねばいい、みたいなことを言って終わるとは思わなかった。確かに面白い攻め方だった。
それにしても、あそこはきれいな所だな！ 上流の男たちのために一流の遊女が集められた島に紗都子が送られたとなると、決まった時刻に始末されるはずだったのが、なおさら分からなくなる。要するに遊興の島に送られたんなら、殺すより遊郭に売って遊女にしたほうが筋が通るんじゃないか？
紗都子があの遊女に突き飛ばされる場面がすごくいい。自分がずっと誰かに頼って生きてきて、桐ヶ谷家の塀の外ではまったくの無力だと気づかされた。あの場面は、先週の話を見てすぐ彼女を好きになった理由も浮き彫りにしてる。紗都子は体が弱いかもしれないけど、義理の妹のときと同じで、ちゃんと言い返せる。
あの男たちの誰かについていっていたら、話は終わってたかもしれない。誰かしら彼女の家の名前を知ってるはずだよね？ 紗都子が大勢を惹きつけるのを見て、進平がすぐ態度を変えたのが最高。紗都子に選択肢があると分かったとたん、得意げにからかってたのが急に謝りだした xD
それにしても、進平はふたりで過ごす最初の夜に、もう紗都子をロマンチックな場所に連れていってる。あの場面の進平の告白には、確かに誠意がある。ヤンデレなのは相変わらずだけど、あの場面ではほとんどまともに見えた。
最後に進平が紗都子に遊女になってくれと頼むとは思わなかった。まあ、それしか島から出る方法が無いならね。さっきも大勢を魅了してたし、彼女にはそんなに難しくないかもしれない。紗都子は少し迷いつつもこの計画に乗り気みたいだし、どうなるか楽しみ。
エンドロールのあとに、あの護衛が罰を受ける場面！ どうやら今後かなり重要になりそうだ。正直、あの大失態のあとでまた出てくるとは思ってなかった。

Interesting that Satoko doesn't think her stepmom ordered her kidnapping. Right now, they're definitely the prime suspect, but based on the conversations between the kidnappers in the last episode, this could also just be a random kidnapping, and Satoko got grabbed because of her looks.
That bath scene was pretty funny! I didn't expect that to end with Satoko basically telling Shinpei that he can go die if he wants, as long as she can get away safely after she tried to appeal to him as his future "wife". That was certainly an intersting approach.
Well, that place is beautiful! So the fact that Satoko got sent to an island where first-rate courtesans have gathered so the elite can have their services makes it even more confusing that she was kidnapped and to be executed at a specific time. If she was sent to what is basically debauchery island, wouldn't it make more sense to just sell her to a brothel and turn her into a courtesan instead of killing her?
I really like the scene where Satoko gets pushed around by that courtesan. It made her realize that she's always been dependent on someone and she's completely helpless outside the Kirigaya Estate walls. That scene also highlights why I immediately liked her character after last week's episode. Satoko may have a weak constitution, but she can fight back, just like with her stepsister.
I feel like the story could've ended if Satoko went with any of those men. Surely, someone out there would recognize her family name, right? I do love that after witnessing Satoko attract so many people, Shinpei immediately changed his attitude. He went from being smug and teasing to suddenly apologetic now that he knows Satoko has options. xD
Well, would you look at that Shinpei has already brought Satoko to a romantic spot on their first night together. There's definitely sincerity to Shinpei's confession during that scene. He's definitely still a yandere, but he almost looks reasonable during that scene.
I didn't expect this to end with Shinpei asking Satoko to become a courtesan. I mean, if that's the only way out of the island. And she already charmed a bunch of people earlier, so this might not be too difficult for her to pull off. Satoko seems to be down with this plan, albeit a bit unsure, but I'm curious to see where it goes.
After-credits scene with the guard dude being punished! I guess he'll be a lot more important then. I honestly didn't think we'd hear from him again after that blunder.

まあ、遊郭はそれはそれで危ない場所だけどね…
うん、周りの人たちはだいたいそういう反応をするだろうと思ってた。
紗都子が扇であんなに上手に舞えるのはちょっと意外。たぶん名家の務めとかで習ってはいたけど、体が弱くて実際には稽古できなかったってことだろうな。

紗都子、もう後藤と一緒になるのも悪くないと思い始めてる？
それにしても…

Kinda surprised Satoko can actually dance that well with a fan. Well, I assume she was taught how to as, like, her noble duties or whatever, just that her constitution wasn’t good enough to actually practice.

It is a great line. Satoko's backbone and how much she's fighting is hard carrying the show right now imo.

It's kinda funny. We went from "I could never marry him." to "I don't hate him." in a single episode lol.

もちろん紗都子はこの結婚の約束を果たす気なんて無いし、殺し屋どころか男そのものに完全には気を許せない。なのに後藤進平は、もう完全にふたりはカップルだって顔をしてる。妻と殺し屋としての暮らしを思い描くところまでセットで。なんと、彼は彼女の髪を洗ってあげるんだって！ 彼女は彼の血まみれの顔と服を洗うんだって！ なんてロマンチック！
でも、進平のことをどう言おうと……体のことで彼女をガラス細工みたいに扱ってはいない。
もちろん紗都子も、他の男たちが自分を狙っている以上、生き延びる手段は進平しかないことを忘れちゃいけないし、彼がしつこく本気度を確かめてくるたびに機嫌を取らなきゃいけない。幸い、彼女が愛想を振りまいて「妻らしい」輝きを見せると、彼はめっぽう弱い！
ようこそ天女島へ！ 遊女と、その遊女と楽しむ上流の男たちでいっぱいの歓楽の島！ そして進平はかなりの人気者で、紗都子をほぼほったらかしにするほど。死ぬならその心臓をちょうだいって言われたのを、個人的に根に持ったんだろうな。
名家のお嬢様という身分は、ここでは何の役にも立たない。善意で助けてくれる人なんていないし、物乞いのように見下されるし、簡単な救いも無い……それでも彼女には根性と決意がある。たとえ地面の米を食べることになっても、見物人のために舞うことになっても。でも、なんて見事な舞だったことか！ 全員を夢中にさせてた！
進平は、本当は紗都子の世話を焼いて、自分から離れないようにしたいだけなのに、冷たくするという失敗をやらかした子どもみたいだ。蛍の群れまで見せに連れていってくれる。本当に美しい光景だった。少なくとも進平は、家の屋敷にいたら想像もできなかった世界の一部を彼女に見せてくれてる……別の人生なら、友達になれたかもしれない。
で、ここからどうする？ 島から出なきゃいけないけど、女が出るのにいちばん手っ取り早いのは……遊女のふりをして身請けされて、そうやって島を出ること。というわけで、紗都子が遊女になる時が来た！ ただし客と寝るのは絶対にダメ。進平が機嫌を損ねるから！ いざ遊郭へ！！！
やれやれ、康太郎は紗都子を見失った代償を払わされてるな……それでも、彼女を絶対に取り戻すと心に決めてるみたいだけど。

Congratulations Satoko! You just got "engaged" to a psychotic killer! A match made in murder as it were.
Obviously Satoko doesn't intend to fulfill this promise of marriage and isn't 100% comfortable around a man, let alone an assassin, even as Shinpei Gotou tries to act like they're already 100% together as a couple. Complete with imagining what their life would be like as wife and assassin. Why, he'll wash her hair for her! She'll wash his bloody face and clothes! How romantic!
Though say what you will about Shinpei...he's not treating her like glass for her medical condition.
Of course Satoko also has to keep in mind that Shinpei is her only means of survival with other men out to get her and she has to keep him happy when he keeps trying to gauge how serious she is about being with him. Luckily he's weak when she turns on the charm and gets that "wifely" glow-up!
Welcome to Tennyo Island! A pleasure island filled with courtesans and upper crust men who enjoy themselves WITH said courtesans! And Shinpei is quite popular, to the point of basically ditching Satoko. I guess he took her wanting his heart if he's going to up and die on her personally.
Satoko's priviledged noblewoman status isn't going to help her here. No one is going to help her out of the goodness of their heart, people are going to look down on her as a beggar, and there's no easy salvation...but she still has her grit and her determination, even if that means eating rice off the ground and dancing for the pleasure of an audience. But what a dazzling dance it is! She's got everyone enthralled!
Shinpei like that kid who made a mistake in acting cold to Satoko when all he really wants is to take care of her and make sure she doesn't leave him. He even brings her to see a bevy of fireflies, a beautiful sight indeed. If nothing else Shinpei has been good for showing her parts of the world she could never conceive of from her family estate...and maybe in another life, they could have been friends.
So where do they go from here? Well, they need to get off the island but the only convenient way for a woman to do so is...play the part of a courtesan, get bought out, and get off the island that way. So it's time for Satoko to become a courtesan! One who absolutely can NOT sleep with her clients because that'll make Shinpei upset! TO THE BROTHEL!!!
Welp, Kotaro sure is paying for losing Satoko...even if he's absolutely determined to get her back.

本気で言ってるわけないよね、まだ第2話だし、ラブコメのお約束はやってないぞ！
興味深い……あの母娘を疑いはしたけど、すぐに打ち消したんだな。
いちばん分かりやすい説明だと思ってたけど、彼女自身がそれを持ち出したってことは、もしかしたら違うのかも……
彼女が人を信じすぎる、悪意が見えないってことを強調したいのかもしれないけど、今の彼女の状況には合わないし、分からない！
この世界で生きるには、ちょっと純粋すぎる！
その純粋さも少しは失うかもね！
それと、もうひとつ思ったんだけど……他の女たちはうちの彼に気があるみたいだ（個人的な好みか、商売柄かは分からないけど）。家族のときと同じ構図がまた起きて、彼女たちに恨まれたりするのかな？
もし彼女たちが何か仕掛けてきたら、人は（「家族」でさえ）欲しいもののためなら極端なことまでするんだって、紗都子も気づくかもしれない！
ついでに考察すると……
この場面からはけっこうな数の説が生まれたと思う。当たってほしくないのもあるけど！
そして（たぶん？）ひとつの説がつぶれた。
護衛が黒幕だ（何か大きな陰謀がある）って考えてた人は多かったと思うけど、結局そうじゃなかったのかも……つまり、ただの無能ってことだ！

Interesting... She did think about them as suspects, but quickly dismissed them;
I thought it was the most obvious explanation, but the fact that SHE brought it up, makes me think perhaps this ain't it...
Unless it's to really put the emphasis on how she's too trusting/can't see evil, but this doesn't to fit what she's currently going through, so I don't know!
She's a bit too pure for this world!
She might lose some of that purity!

This also made me think... The other girls seem interested in our boy (whether it's by personal preference, or by their profession)... Will the same dynamic from her family come up again, with them resenting her and all?
If they do act against her, perhaps this might make her realize that yeah, people (even "family") can go to extreme lengths to get what they want and all!
And while we're theorizing..
I feel like this scene gave birth to quite a few theories, some of which I hope are not right!
It also (probably?) killed one such theory;
I think many theorized the guard was responsible (some big conspiracy) but perhaps he wasn't after all.. Which would mean he's simply incompetent!
